GCSE Religious Studies Full Course - candidates must complete two units with a maximum of 200 uniform marks (please
see specification for allowable unit combinations)

GCSE Religious Studies Short Course - candidates must complete one unit only with a maximum of 100 uniform marks.

The Uniform Mark boundaries will not change for the lifetime of this specification whereas the Raw Mark boundaries
will be set independently in each examination series.
Please note:
If you are planning to use the Raw Mark boundaries to estimate future performance and grades they must be used with
caution as they are prone to change each series.

The A* grade is not awarded for individual units - it is only awarded at subject level.

A* is now a derived grade set independently in each examination series. If you are planning to use the A* boundary from
this series to estimate future A* boundaries it must be used with caution as it is prone to change.
