 How to Use Proteus ?

 First, we open the software from the desktop

shortcut or from the installed directory.

 Then we click on “New Project” option, as shown in

the menu.
 Then we select the location for the project file to be
saved.

 Then according to the given assignments, we select

the options displayed. If the task is about a simple
circuit, we then proceed with default options.
 After that we start our main assignment on the given
plane.

NOTE:
In order to select the
components we need
for the circuit we click
on the small option “P”
and then write the
name of the component,
select it and then click
on OK.
 Procedure For solving the given
“Example”:
 First, we Select the components we want. These
include “Resistors”, “Battery”, “Voltmeter”, and
“Ammeter”. (We select the by simply following the
above step for selecting components).

 Then we place the selected components on the workspace.

The components can be rotated and there values can also
be changed to the desired value.
 Then we connect the components with wires by clicking
on the end points of the components and joining them
with the ends of the other components.

 After that we select the measuring instruments option to

connect an ammeter and a voltmeter to the circuit.
 After that we run the simulation by clicking on the
simulation option.

 Once that is done, we get the required values displayed on

the voltmeter and the ammeter.
 Procedure For solving the given
“Lab Task 1”:
Similarly, by following the exact same steps we used to
solve the above example, we shell now solve the given lab
task.

 First, we will select the components from the component

menu. (Battery, resistors).
 Then we will place the resistors and the voltage source on
the workspace like it is shown in the diagram.
 Then we will connect the ends of the components with the
wires.
 Then we will connect ammeters with the ends of each
resistor in series and a voltmeter in parallel to the circuit.
 After that we will run the simulation to get the voltages
across and current through each and every resistor.
 Procedure For solving the given
“Lab Task 2”:
Similarly, by following the exact same steps we used to
solve the above example we shell now solve the given lab
