My day
I had terrible day yesterday. First, I woke up an hour late because my alarm didn’t go on. Then I was in

Yesterday, my younger brother, Haikal told me that his teeth ached. I found I weird because he always
brushed his teeth twice a day. I asked my mother to see a dentist and check his teeth. However, he
didn’t want to go, he was afraid of a dentist. To convince him to go, I said that I would also accompany
him to dentist and he was agreed.
In the clinic, he was getting nervous. He kept holding my mother’s hand all the time. He scramed when
he heard the sound of drill from the dentist’ s room. He was even more afraid after that. Then the
nurse called his name, but he was very afraid. I took his hand and went to the dentist’s room with my
mother.
In the dentist’s room, we met Ms. Erika, the dentist. She was very friendly. She told mHaikal that he
didn’t have to afraid. Haikal replied that he didn’t want his teeth to be drilled. Ms. Erika smiled and
giggled to my brother and said that she wouldn’t use the drill.
It turned out that Haikal’s teeth were clean. However, he had sensitive teeth. The dentist asked him to
brush his teeth using sensitive toothpaste, especially before eating or drinking hot or cold food / drinks.
Haikal said that he wasn’t afraid of dentist anymore.

Last year I joined the Chicago Marathon, my first marathon contest. I had to run26,2 miles to complete
it. It was so hard.
At first, I just wanted to get the experience of joining a marathon. I thought it would be one lifetime

complete at least one more marathon and improve my time. I also experienced a good feeling between

Last holiday, my family and I visited Lembah Pelangi Waterfall in Ngarip District, at Tanggamus
Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia. It was the first time for me to visit such a wonderful place.
To reach the waterfall location, we should go on foot, after having a three-hour trip on a motorcycle
from Bandarlampung, the capital city of Lampung. When we arrived there, I was amazed by the
beautiful scenery of the waterfall. The water was so clean and fresh at that time and I could not bear
to jump into it immediately. It was quite windy there and I only could see green, green, and green.
Hearing the sound of falling water while swimming made me feel peaceful and relaxed.
Finally, the day was getting dark and it was time for us to go home. It was such an unforgettable
experience for me that I really enjoyed.

Vacation to Surabaya
Last holiday, I went to Surabaya with my friend for vacation. We went there on a night bus.
When we arrived in Lamongan, the bus stopped at a small restaurant for a rest. I got off the bus to get
a cup of ginger tea, and my friend drank some cold lemonade. Then I went to the toilet. It took only a
few minutes.
When I came out again, the bus was not there. It had gone! My friend was not there too. Feeling
shocked and confused, I asked a waitress about the bus. She said that the bus departed about five
minutes ago.
I tried to call my friend on my cell-phone, but the battery was running low.
I could not do anything just hope and pray. After several minutes, my wish came true. The bus came
back! I got on the bus and walked to my seat.
I was so ashamed when everybody on the bus looked at me. I could feel my face turn red.
