The document discusses the structure and function of the human heart. It notes that the heart is a vital muscle that pumps blood throughout the body over a lifetime. The heart has four chambers - right and left ventricles and right and left atriums. It explains that deoxygenated blood enters the right atrium and is pumped to the lungs for oxygenation before entering the left atrium and being pumped through the body by the left ventricle and aorta.

am going to tell about the heart and its function. THE HEART
• Our Heart is a Vital Muscle it is also
known as the cardiac muscle.
• The major function of the heart is to
pump blood.
• During an average lifetime, the heart will
pump nearly 1.5 million gallons of blood.
• A woman’s heart typically beats faster
than a man’s heart. The heart of an average man beats approximately 70 times a minute and a woman’s heart beats 78 times a minute.
• The heart is about the same size as our
fist. • The Pulmonary veins brings all the blood from the body to the Heart.
• The Pulmonary artery helps the blood to
go to the lungs for the exchange of the gases which makes our blood rich in oxygen.
There are four chambers in the heart. They
are right ventricle, left ventricle, right auricle and the left auricle.
• The blood leaves from the heart to the rest
of the body through aorta
• The inferior vena cava brings the blood
from the abdomen and the parts of the body below the abdomen.
• The superior vena cava bring blood from
the chest and head. THE MOVEMENT OF THE BLOOD
• The deoxygenated blood (bad blood) enters
the heart and go into right atrium and it goes through a valve and get into right ventricle after that it goes through a valve the valve is called pulmonary(tricuspid) valve and go to the to the lungs by the pulmonary artery.
• After getting in the lungs and the blood and
oxygen mix into each other and made the oxygenated blood and get into the pulmonary vein and get into the left atrium and go through a valve called mitral valve.
• Then it goes to the left ventricle and gets into
the aorta and pump all over the human body. Thank you
