Here are a few important points about the course:

● The course is not about getting a job, because I don’t believe in teaching just for the sake of
getting a job. Instead we are going to learn everything with a perspective of becoming a better
backend engineer. I believe if you learn to become an engineer, getting a job is going to be a
cake walk, but those who just learn to get a job leave the sense of up-skilling themselves and
don’t get the desired results. So our agenda in the course is to become a better engineer.
Based on my experience I am going to teach you everything necessary to become a backend
engineer including the practices and processes that real software engineers use while
working on a real world project.
● We will keep on adding recorded content to the course also as extra added content. Every
chapter that comes with a suffix [Recorded] will be having recording content rest everything is
going to be Live.

some additional topics
● The classes are going to be live, and will be of 2 - 2.5 hours each , from 8-10 (we are also
considering 6 - 8 as alternative time for weekdays) on Tuesday and Thursday and 12-2 on
Saturday and Sunday. We will be having 3-4 classes per week, but I understand this much
content per week can be overwhelming and we might need a break in between. So in that
case we can either keep normal discussion class or keep a leave on any one day. Any
change in timings will also be informed on a prior notice.

● You’re expected to attend the classes live, or if you miss the class then watch the recording
as soon as possible, but if you will come without having context of the previous class, we
won’t be able to iterate again to previous class things, because otherwise we won’t be able to
make progress, and it will be unfair for the students who attended every class live.
● I will be sharing notes and codes for daily classes for your easier revision.
● There will be TA’s along with me who are going to help you in doubt-support post class, but
they are going to stick to the doubts related to course related notes and codes.
● During the class, you can ask doubts and after every small discussion I will be asking you if
you’ve any questions or not. But I totally understand you might get doubts post class when
you revise everything. That's why you can use the discussion forum where the TA’s will help
you to resolve your doubts.
● Any kind of misbehaviour during the class or post the class on the discussion forums, will not
be treated lightly, and will lead to termination from the course without any warning or notice.
● I would request you folks, to maintain the sanity of the platform and respect the efforts the
whole team is putting in order to deliver you a better course experience. I would request you
to avoid any kind of piracy of the course because I believe everyone understands the fact that
it takes a whole lot of effort to do any work.
● There will be regular feedback for the live classes, so make sure you openly express your
thoughts there. There is scope of improvement within everyone, and I am also not 100%
perfect, but feedback will help us to improve your experience.
● It is expected that you’ll be having a working computer system to practise everything about
the course. Whatever software you need to install will be told during the course so don’t worry
about it.
● At any point of time if you feel you’re lagging behind in the course, just try to communicate
that, we can try to get it resolved and support you in that case.
● The content that we are going to cover is absolutely relevant to industry practices and we will
discuss everything during the course. Every project that we will make will cover a bit of the
system design aspect of it, every class will involve hands-on coding, and a lot of interesting
technologies we are going to explore.
● The access to the recordings of the lectures will be available 3-4 months after the course
ends.
● There is no refund policy for the course, given that we assure you that whatever you expect
before purchasing the course, we will be giving our 100% effort to ensure all those
expectations are met and will even try to provide you learning and experience beyond it.
● A lot of times it happens when we feel things are not making sense for us, but just remember
one thing, this is the part of learning. Whenever you feel demotivated, remind yourself of the
days when you were learning Maths, it used to give us a feeling that how the teacher is able
to think about it ? How can we think about it ? But slowly and steadily with practice you all
nailed it. So programming is going to be similar to that. Always keep in mind, it’s not
necessary to understand everything 100% because things will make sense with time, instead
it is more important to be consistent. Make sure even if you miss a live class, you watch the
recording anyway, because you have to make an equal effort with us.
