Demographic Survey
Their opinion towards Secret Recipe to open at United Kingdom
FINDINGS

1) While conducting the research, we distributed our survey to several types of age group
members, and it consisted of 80% from the age of 18-20 years. In addition, 10% of
our respondents are between 21 - 23 years old. Finally, 10% of our respondents are
27-29 years old.

2) we obtained 60% of the respondents consisting of female and 40% of male.

3) We got 100% of the respondents who were Malays.

4) 80% of our respondents are students and 20% of them are workers.
 5) They are 6 respondent that stay in Perak, 1 from Malacca and 1 from Negeri Sembilan

6) For household income that are less than RM 4,360 there are 88.9% respondent while for
RM 9,619 or more there are 11.1% respondent.
7) There are 100% Malaysian that answered the survey

8) There are 90% of respondent that are Secret Recipe respondent while 10% of respondent
are not.
SECTION B

1) Do you think Secret Recipe should open/expand to Europe?

According to the survey, 60% of respondents were strongly agree if Secret Recipe opening
up shop or expanding to Europe, while 10% were both strongly disagree and disagree, and
0% were against.
2) Does United Kingdom is a good market to venture to?

According to the survey, 40% of respondents strongly agreed that the United Kingdom is a
good market to enter, 20% said they agreed and neutral, and 10% said they disagreed or
strongly disagreed.

3) Should Secret Recipe change their menu in United Kingdom?

According to the survey, there is a tie in the percentage of respondents who are either strongly
agree or neutral on the question of whether Secret Recipe should adjust its menu in the United
Kingdom which is 30%, while only 20% said they agreed and 10% said they disagree and
strongly disagree.

4) Should Secret Recipe make a new recipe to opened it in United Kingdom?

According to the survey, 30% of respondents were neutral and strongly agree if Secret Recipe
creating a new recipe and launching it in the United Kingdom, while 20% agreed and 10%
strongly disagree and disagree.
5) Do they love to have a concept of Secret Recipe like a café?

According to the survey, 0% of respondents strongly disagree, 20% both agree and are
neutral, and 50% of respondents strongly agree that they would love to have a Secret Recipe
concept like a café.

6) Do you agree if Secret Recipe open 24 hours basis in United Kingdom?

According to the survey, there were equal percentage of respondents who agreed, disagreed,
and were neutral about Secret Recipe being open 24 hours a day in the United Kingdom.
However, 10% of respondents strongly agreed, while 0% disagreed.

7) Do you agree if Secret Recipe provide food delivery in United Kingdom?

Based on the survey there are 30% respondents that are strongly agree and neutral if Secret
Recipe in United Kingdom provide food delivery while 20% are agree and 30% are neutral.
8) Do you think United Kingdom good in infrastructures to help Secret Recipe?

Based on the survey there are 50% of respondent are strongly agree if United Kingdom good
in infrastructures to help Secret Recipe while there are 10% of respondent that are agree and
strongly disagree and there are 0% answered disagree.
9) Do you think opening Secret Recipe at United Kingdom will helps to promote
Malaysia traditional dishes?

According to the survey, 30% of respondents believe that Secret Recipe in the UK will assist
to promote Malaysian traditional cuisine, while 20% of respondents are neutral or disagree,
and 0% are strongly disagree.

10) Do you think people in United Kingdom have a median income to purchase
Secret Recipe product?
Based on the survey there are 30% respondent that answered strongly agree if United
Kingdom have a median income to purchase a Secret Recipe product while 40% answered
agree and 30% answered neutral.
