ANNUAL FEE CHANGES FOR THE 2023/2024 FINANCIAL YEAR.

The above subject matter has reference.

The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) announced the changes to the
annual fees for the 2023/2024 financial year which were published on 05 April 2023.
ECSA has undertaken research with the members to understand some of their
concerns and the issue of high increases to registration fees was raised given the
current economic environment. We are understanding of the current environment and
our research has enabled us to take into consideration concerns from our members
on the issue of registration fees and as such we pleased to notify you of the following
changes in our annual fees to the 2023/2024 financial year:

a. A nominal increase of 5% to the registration fees less than the current market
CPI of 7%.
b. An increase in the early bird discount for candidates and professionals has
been effected and the early bird discount is R250 for Professionals from R100
and R150 for Candidates from R50 previously.

We are committed to improving the services and value we provide for our members.
