MOB drill.
Sequence of event:
09:00 Rise the alarm
09:05 All crewmembers mastered near the MOB to perform MOB drill
09:20 Preparation, duties checked and instructions for releasing, lowering and hoisting up the rescue boat was
given and discussed with the Crew & officers. VTS informed.
09:25 MOB boat engine, releasing mechanism, etc. tested and found in good order
09:30 3rd Officer and 3rd Engineer entered the boat.
09:32 Bosun swing out the boat from vessel. 3rd Officer lowered the boat to the water level.
09:35 Engine started; Hook released
09:37 Painter line released; Start Making turns around the vessel.
09:47 Secure painter line to MOB and bring MOB under the hook.
09:55 MOB was recovered / properly secured. Crew out of MOB.
09:55 Drill completed; VTS informed
