Hi all,my name is Suriya tdy I will like to share my journey of crowfunding project that I have been thru

last week.This fund raising been owner by Voluteer of Johor bahru I was been a part of volunteer due to

my Mother.My mother is an active volunteer for this group so I also participate on this to show my support

Today we would like to cover 3 things which is about this project,How was my journey and challenges that

I have face during this project

This project for kids for Gemilang masai house to fill the gaps and provide dedicated resources to help

the most vulnerable

SLIDE 4:

This fund start with preparation of raw material which purchase from Tesco and Speedmarts and some

of volunteers start cooking once received the raw materials.Most of raw material been purchase with

voluteer’s funding money.

SLIDE 5:

The volunteer leader have divided us few groups due managing customer and selling capacity

I have get the group of Mutton curry nanchos ,I know it sound different the taste of crunch nanchos with

deep into mutton curry will give a different sensation which will blast the flavour of curry in our mouth.So

my task was to prepare box of nanchos and pour some mutton curry and cheese on top nanchos and burn

top of it to make cheese to melt which it was smell good with curry and cheese melted smell was rounding

around my nose. Beside my group ,we have few other group was preparing food that always like by our

Malaysian which is Vadai,Currypuff ,Paratta, and Tosai.

SLIDE 6:

In this volunteers with same concept of raising fund for same reasons they have divided into few group

to sell as much as we can .We managed to attact customers and let them know our good cause .My group

have sell nachos mutton curry and successfully raise RM95.While other group get more than 100RM

SLIDE 7:

Challenges face by me was limited Resources: greatest enemies of a nonprofit organisation is the limited

resources available . Naturally, the majority of resources should be going towards mission. Although we

may have tons of volunteers, there are still additional expenses need to worry about and Time limited

Managing customer and making nanchos at same times too tiring and some of customer was complaining

waiting for long time

As I mentioned previously my group was arrange by the volunteer leader so the member of my group was

new for me when doing this project I have get to know them more and since they are from different

background its help me to get to know their differences

SLIDE 9:

Profit & Loss: Nachos selling have get around 95RM (one plate of nachos was 5RM managed to sell 19

pax. Raw material was cost around 3RM we have get profit of 2RM each pax The rest of volunteers

managed to raise more fund which contribute around 1.2kRM and we have donated to Gemilang Masai

House on 26th April 23

SLIDE 10:

Conclusion from this project I have learned a lot one of it is time management which was really important

when doing volunteer projects. A society where people volunteer and work together is always faces less

problems since all the members tend to get along well and support each when they are in need.

volunteering provides a great platform to learn skills and experiences of life in general and future career

choices people can make later in life when they choose to.
