THE CONTINENTS

OF THE WORLD
Today we’re going to be taking about Asia. Asia is the largest continent in the
world with an area of 44.58 km2. That’s pretty large isn’t it. Asia is also home
to 4,749,142,351 people; with that amount of people Asia is the most populous
continent. Asia is home to 6 trans-continental countries, the most of any
continent; the following countries are: Egypt, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan,
Russia and Turkey. Oh! I’ve forgotten to show this but here’s a map of Asia.

As you can see (or not) there is a total of 49 countries in Asia (Palestine
included). Asia is one of the most historical, civilized and cultural places in the
world. Asia holds the record of having the tallest statue and building in the
world; The statue of Unity located in India and the tallest building, the Burj
Khalifa is located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The statue of Unity is 182
m from top to bottom; and the Burj Khalifa is 830 m from top to bottom as
well. Asia’s home to very diverse countries such as: India, Malaysia, Pakistan,
Sri Lanka and Philippines.
Welcome back! Today we’re talking about Europe. Europe is the 2 nd smallest
continent on earth but it’s one of the most civilized places in the world. Europe
is also where World War 1 and 2 started. It was chaos back then but now its
peaceful there except the russo-ukranian war that is still happening. As I’ve
shown this is a map of Europe before the russo-ukranian war. Europe also has
748,886,053 people living there. Europe has its own union: the European
Union (EU) but some countries in Europe don’t want to join the EU such as: the
United Kingdom (UK), Norway, Switzerland and the microstates. What’s a
microstate you ask? Well a microstate is a country that is so small you can’t
even see it on a regular map (unless if you zoom in). Europe has 45 countries
(including the Vatican City).
