CHAPTER 3: MARKET INTEGRATION

Acivity 1: Film Viewing “The Corporation”
The corporation is an award-winning documentary film that examines the
modern-day corporation directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott. In a 1
whole sheet of paper, write a reflection based on what you have understand
in the film.

THE CORPORATION
The Corporation talks about the absence of morals that is introduced
by heartless corporations all over the world. It goes inside and out to
show how corporations have been polluting the earth, as well as
individuals' personalities, and the legislatures intended to investigate
and control these corporations. It turns out a portion of the shady
business practices performed by corporations and a portion of the
externalities of this business machine that are made all for the sake of
benefit for the CEO's and investors of the corporations.
The documentary boasts a huge cast of more than forty reporters which
incorporates such high profile names as Michael Moore. Every observer is on
screen for only a couple of moments all at once to add a couple of pieces
of information and knowledge that supplement the different video cuts.
Between Mikela J. Mikael's portrayal and the editing efforts of Jennifer
Abbott, the film had the option to utilize a wide assortment of information
broadcasts video cuts, breaking occasion film, PC illustrations, recorded
film, rare plugs, modern preparation reels, and propagandistic "delicate
news" to frame a fascinating show for the film. This type of introducing
the realities assisted with holding the speed of the film back from getting
to dry and tiresome for the watcher.
The biggest weakness of the film was the length or duration of the
video. At 2 hours and 45 minutes the film was on par, similar to length, as
a portion of the advanced true to life stories implied for cinemas rather
than narrative film celebrations. Considering the actual subject can be so
expansive. The Corporation might have been less tiresome as miniseries
implied for the History Channel or perhaps the Discovery Channel.
The documentary is restricted toward the end by Michael Moore who
attempt to persuade the watcher to change their own specific manners. He
begs that everybody ought to turn out to be more unsure to what companies
are meaning for the existences of everybody around them. He then, at that
point, requests that the watcher make changes in themselves and their
activities to decrease the strangle hold that corporations have on
individuals around them. In his last words, Michael Moore portrays how Big
Picture Media Corporation is the entity that is distributing a film that is
bashing corporations to further their own overall revenues.
The Corporation was composed to provoke thought in people, and to
educate individuals regarding corporate wrong doings and about the number
of organizations are controlling the framework that is set-to control them.
The film works effectively of commending the book as well as adding to the
books message. I would prescribe The Corporation film narrative to
everybody inspired by higher information on their environmental elements
and the general public in which they live. Therefore, I give "The
Corporation" four stars out of five as it was an eye opener for
individuals.
