Single sharing AC accommodation will be provided to Grand Masters, Double Sharing AC
accommodation will be provided to International Masters.
Eligibility :
The tournament is open for players who have not crossed the Standard FIDE
rating of 1600 in the past 36 months prior to the start of the tournament are eligible to participate.
Fair Play :
To curb the menace of sandbagging the rating points and to protect fair play, All India Chess Federation made
the following decision, which will be in force with immediate effect."Players who nished rst or second in any
rating restricted tournament will not be eligible to play in any rating restricted tournament for one year from
the date of such achievement" The earlier rule of threshold of 36 months remains the same (once the player
crosses the rating threshold, he cannot participate for the event below that rating level for next 36 months).
TIE BREAK (Below 1600 & Rapid) :
In case of a tie, B.H Cut1, B.H, S.B, D.E, Number of Wins, Number of Wins With Black shall come to effect.
The cash prize however will not be shared and one player will be eligible for one higher prize only.
PROTESTS (Below 1600 & Rapid) :
Protests if any against the chief Arbiter, should be made in writing with protest fee of Rs.1000/- within 15 minuts
of occurrence on incidence.
The fee amount shall be refunded if the appeal is upheld and if not then protest fee shall be fore-tted
ACCOMMODATION (Below 1600 & Rapid) :

MLA Hostel Accommodation will be provided on Double/Triple sharing basis for Rs. 1500/- per person for
Both Tournament from 12th August, Evening to 17th August, Evening.
MLA Hostel, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
Morning Pickup & Evening Drop Will be Provided.
NOTE (Below 1600 & Rapid) :
Right of admission to the tournament is reserved with the organizer. The organizer may refuse the entry to any player
without assigning any reason.
