2. Things to be COMPULSORILY brought by the candidate on the day of examination for admission to the test/ examination centre on the Date and Time
mentioned above: -
i. Printed Coloured Copy of the E-Admit Card.
ii. Valid Photo Identification Card (Original) - Voter ID Card/ Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ PAN Card/ Passport issued by Government Authorities.
iii. 02 recent Colour Passport Size Photographs of the candidate.
iv. Blue/Black Ball Point Pen (Transparent).
v. Face Mask and Personal Hand Sanitizer (50 ml) in a transparent bottle.
vi. Water Bottle (Transparent)

3. Link for downloading the E-Admit Card shall be made available on MPPGCL’s Online Application Portal & on MPPGCL’s website (mppgcl.mp.gov.in)
for downloading and printing by the candidates. No admit card will be sent by post.

4. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD AFFIX/ PASTE (DO NOT STAPLE) RECENT COLOUR PHOTOGRAPH (AS UPLOADED IN ONLINE APPLICATION) AT
THE SPACE PROVIDED ABOVE AND SIGN ACROSS.

5. The printed E-Admit Card will be verified with at least one ORIGINAL (not photocopy or scanned copy) valid PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARD.

6. No candidate will be allowed to enter at the Test Centre without valid E-Admit Card and Photo Identification Card (in original) as mentioned above.

7. In case of change in name of the candidate post marriage or for any other reason, the candidate must bring his/her E-Admit Card, original matriculation
certificate along with Original Photo Identification Card and other supporting documents, such as Notarised Affidavit, etc. The identity of the candidate
will be matched from the documentary proofs to be provided by the candidate. Such candidate will be allowed to enter at the Test Centre only after
proper validation and verification of his/ her identity with the aforesaid documents.

8. The E-Admit Card will be collected by the Invigilator in the examination hall for record. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their E-Admit Card or
to note down their Roll Number and Application Sequence Number for future reference.

9. Candidates should check the particulars, i.e., Name, Date of Birth, Photograph, Signature, Category, etc., mentioned in the E-Admit Card carefully. In
case of any discrepancy in Photograph, Signature or non-receipt/ difficulty in downloading of E-Admit Card, the registered candidates may log their
grievances, if any, through the Help Desk on MPPGCL’s online Application Portal or through the Helpline No - (+91) 7996098555.

10. In case the grievance of the candidate in respect of his/ her particulars such as Name, Date of Birth, Photograph, Signature, Category, etc., as
mentioned in the E-Admit Card or regarding non-receipt/ difficulty in downloading of E-Admit Card or any other E-Admit Card related query is not
resolved, then the candidate is advised to personally report at the “Facilitation Counters” as listed in MPPGCL’s online Application Portal/ MPPGCL
Website, one day before the date of the respective examination from 10:00 AM to 2.00 PM with the printouts of Copy of Online Application Form, copies
of certificates, testimonials, Photo Identification Card (original), two passport size photos, etc. for redressing the grievances, if any. The addresses of
“Facilitation Counters” of respective examination city and the scheduled dates will be hosted on MPPGCL’s Application Portal/ MPPGCL’s website for
information of the applicants. However, no request for change in name, category, date of birth, etc., shall be entertained since the candidates were
advised to check their details in the online application before submission.

11. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN TEST DATE/TEST SESSION/ TEST CENTRE/TEST VENUE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.

12. Candidates are advised to locate the Test Centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the test centre on time for the
test MPPGCL will not be responsible for late coming of the candidate.

13. At the exam centre, Frisking, Validation and Verification of Identity of the candidates by way of Iris Recognition process shall be done while entry into
the examination halls before the start of exam, and again after completion of the exam while exiting from the examination halls and attendance will be
done accordingly. Candidates must report to their allotted Test Centres at the Reporting Time mentioned in the E-Admit Card so that entry/
registration formalities can be done smoothly prior to allotment of computer nodes for appearing in the test (CBT). The captured Iris recognition may be
used for re-verification of candidate's identification at the later stages also like at the time of document verification, joining etc.

14. Entry gates of Test Centre will be closed before commencement of test as mentioned in E-Admit Card. NO LATE COMING ENTRY IS
ALLOWED.

15. Once the Iris Recognition process is done by the Test Administrators, the Candidate should not leave the Test Centre Hall/Room till completion of the
Computer Based Test (CBT). No candidate shall be allowed to leave the System/ Test Centre before the scheduled time for conclusion of Computer
Based Test (CBT). If any candidate leaves the allotted system without proper permission of Invigilator / Examination Authority before completion of the
Online CBT, He/ She will not be allowed to continue the Online CBT and his/ her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

16. User ID & PASSWORD for the Computer Based Test will be provided to the Candidates 10 minutes before commencement of test at their respective
computer terminal by the Test Administrators/ Invigilators. Please follow their instructions carefully. Candidate will be required to enter Login ID and
PASSWORD for appearing in CBT. After Login,please ensure that candidate particulars appearing on the computer screen allotted to you are correct
and in case of any discrepancy observed in the same, please report to the Test Administrators/ Invigilators immediately.

17. Candidates appearing in the computer based test should, in their own interest, check their eligibility for the post applied as per MPPGCL’s recruitment
Advertisement/ RulebookNo. ED(HR&A)/MPPGCL/ Rectt./2022-23/764 dated 21/02/2023 &Corrigendum NO. ED(HR&A)/MPPGCL/ Rectt./2022-
23/995dated 13/03/2023and ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria in all respect as mentioned therein for the respective post, before appearing
in Computer Based Test to avoid disappointment at any later stage as his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled if found ineligible for the post at later
stages of selection process pending scrutiny of eligibility and verification of testimonials, certificates and documents regarding eligibility.

18. The candidate should note that his/her candidature for the computer based test is "PURELY PROVISIONAL" pending detailed scrutiny of eligibility as
per MPPGCL’s detailed Advertisement/ Rulebook and rules of MPPGCL. In case, it is found at any stage of recruitment/selection process that the
candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria and information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not in conformity with the eligibility
criteria mentioned in advertisement including Fee, Age, Caste Category, Educational Qualification, etc. the candidature of the applicant/candidate will
be rejected at any stage of recruitment/selection process and even after appointment.

19. If a candidate is/ has been found guilty of using unfair means during the examination, or impersonating or procuring impersonation by any
person, or misbehaving in the examination hall, or resorting to any irregular/ illegal means in connection with his/ her candidature during
selection process, or obtaining support for his/ her candidature by any means, he/ she shall be straightaway debarred from this recruitment
process at any stage. Such candidate, in addition to rendering himself/ herself liable to criminal prosecution, may also be liable to be disqualified from
the examination and debarred either permanently or for a specified period from any examination/ recruitment in the State Power Sector Companies of
GoMP.

20. There shall be complete ban on possessing or using electronic devices/ gadgets. Possession and/or use of electronic devices/ gadgets such as Mobile
Phone, Micro Phone or any other associated accessories, Log Tables, Pager, Wrist Watch, Calculator, Digital Diary, Books/ Notes, etc. are strictly
prohibited in the Examination Hall at CBT Center/ Examination Center. If any candidate is found in possession of any of these devices and/ or
documents, his/ her candidature is liable to be cancelled. Such a candidate shall be debarred either permanently or for a specified period from any
examination/ recruitment in the State Power Sector Companies of GoMP and he/ she shall also be liable for appropriate legal/ penal action under the
law. Candidates should not bring any such devices and/ or documents, etc., at the CBT Center. MPPGCL and/or Examination Authority/ Invigilators
shall not be responsible for its safe custody/ loss.

21. Consumption of liquor or any other intoxicant is prohibited and any intoxicated candidate shall not be allowed to appear in the Online Examination/ CBT
and appropriate legal/ penal action under the law shall be initiated against him/ her.

22. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents in any form or any
information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means, i.e., verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the papers supplied in the
test centre or found to be in unauthorised possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and he/ she will be debarred/disqualified
from selection process. Necessary disciplinary and legal action as per rules will be taken and such cases will be reported to police (as required).

23. The candidates should regularly visit MPPGCL’s website (www.mppgcl.mp.gov.in) for latest updates through notification, instruction, circulars
related to recruitment/selection process. The result of this Computer Based Test along with instructions and schedule for document verification (as
applicable) will be published on MPPGCL’s Website.

24. Only SC/ ST/ Specially Abled (PWD)/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates having M.P. domicile shall be reimbursed one side Rail/ Bus fare for
appearing in the written examination up to the extent of II-Class Ordinary Sleeper charges by the shortest route on actual basis and as per rules, limited
to the distance of the test centre from the address for communication mentioned in their applications or from where they have actually performed the
journey, whichever is minimum. The candidates are required to submit details as per Proforma-A2 enclosed with the Rulebook, along with original
tickets, self-attested copies of caste certificate issued by SDO of GoMP, Disability Certificate issued by District Medical Board of M.P., if
applicable, and self-attested copy of M.P. Domicile Certificate at the time of CBT. Applicable Rail/ Bus fare amount shall be reimbursed into the
Bank Account of respective eligible candidate as per the details submitted in his/ her application form, in due course after necessary scrutiny of details
submitted by the candidate.

25. Any query/ concern of the candidates related to any question(s)/ answer key of the examination will be redressed through opening of Objection
Management Portal/ Link after 03-04 days from completion/ last date of online examinations/ CBTs. The aforesaid web link and its availability duration
will be communicated through MPPGCL’s Online Application Portal/ Website.

26. Paper for rough work will be provided to the candidates in the examination room/hall. Candidate has to mention his/her Roll No. on the rough paper
before starting rough work. Rough papers taken by the candidate must be returned to the Invigilators after completion of the online examination/ CBT.

27. If online examination/CBT for a particular post is conducted in multiple shifts owing to large number of applicants for that post, normalization shall be
applied for moderation of scores of candidates and for preparation of merit list for that post.

28. A Web Link will be made available on MPPGCL’s online Application Portal & MPPGCL’s website (mppgcl.mp.gov.in) for online Mock Test. Mock Test
facility shall be only for practice purpose and in order to familiarize the candidates with the online CBT. It is clarified that demo/mock online tests are
purely for practice purpose and shall be in English only.

29. In case you are travelling on your own vehicle, please note that the test centre may not provide parking facility inside the test venue/ campus. You will
have to park the vehicle outside of the test centre/ campus at your own risk.

30. MPPGCL reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts advertised for respective cadres and also regarding that to fill up or not to fill
up the advertised posts without issuing any further notice and without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)

1. The Total duration of test will be two (2) hours.

2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of the computer screen will display the remaining time
available for you to complete the Test. When the timer reaches zero, the Test will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your
Test.

3. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of computer screen will show the status of each question using one of the following
symbols: -

4. The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again.
5. Please note that, if a question is Answered and Marked for Review, your answer for that question will be considered in the
evaluation.

Navigating to a Question : -
6. To answer a question, do the following:
a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette to go to that question directly.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to mark it for review for the current question, and then go to the next Question.
d. Caution: Note that your answer for the current question will not be saved, if you navigate to another question directly (without saving
the answer) by clicking on its question number.

Answering a Question : -
7. Procedure for answering a multiple choice type question:
a. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
b. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button.
c. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option
d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
e. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. If any answer is selected for a question that is Marked
for Review, that answer will be considered in the evaluation.
