The unlimited variety of life experiences and traits that a child brings to their formal learning at school is

referred to as learning diversity. All kids with a variety of learning difficulties have the same right to a
comprehensive and interesting education as their classmates.

Individual learning disparities. Learners have diverse learning tactics, approaches, and capabilities based
on prior experience and genetics.

Individuals are born with their own traits and talents, which they develop over time. Furthermore,
individuals have developed their own preferences for how they like to learn and how quickly they learn
as a result of their education and social acculturation. However, these preferences aren't always helpful
in assisting students in achieving their learning objectives. Educators must assist students in examining
their learning preferences and, if required, expanding or modifying them. Another important factor
determining learning outcomes is the interaction between learner differences and curricular and
environmental variables. In general, educators must be sensitive to individual variances. They must also
consider how learners perceive different teaching approaches and resources in terms of how well they
accept and adapt to these variations.

Individual Differences Factors

Learning and diversity are two important aspects of life. When disparities in learners' language, cultural,
and social backgrounds are taken into consideration, learning becomes more efficient. All learners share
the same core principles of learning, motivation, and effective instruction. Language, ethnicity, race,
beliefs, and socioeconomic background, on the other hand, can all have an impact on learning. In the
classroom, paying close attention to these aspects expands the options for planning and implementing
effective learning settings. Learners' motivation and achievement are increased when they believe their
individual diversity in talents, backgrounds, cultures, and experiences are valued, respected, and
accommodated in learning activities and circumstances.

In all learning environments, individual interact with others who are in some way different from them and that.
what we called "diversity". This diversity also comes from other factors like SOCIO ECONOMIC STATUS,
THINKING/ LEARNING STYLES and EXCEPTIONALITIES.

In socioeconomic status, it depends on how individual differ in life style from that of the middle income or lower
income group. It also depend on a combination of variables including occupation, education, income, wealth and
place of residence. Socioeconomic status is the measure of the influence that the social environment has on
individual, families, communities and schools. In many ways, socioeconomic status is related to the concept of
social class. The next factor is, thinking / learning style of every learner which involves their different strategies and
techniques on how they learn easily and effectively. There are some learners learn by seeing and looking and others
are by hearing and listening. On the other hand, there are individual learn better by touching and doing. Wherein
they actually perform what they want to know and learn, that's why every learner have their own styles in learning.
And the last is the exceptionalities, in these factor learners with exceptionalities as persons who are different in some
way from the "normal" or "average". Exceptional learners includes those with special needs related to cognitive
abilities, behavior, emotional disturbances and giftedness. And the learners require a lot of understanding and
patience as well as special education and related services to reach their full of development.

And to those factors that bring about student diversity, the teacher as a facilitator of learning is task to consider the
individual differences among the students in planning for effective instruction. Every individual being diverse in
terms of culture, race, gender, age, learning abilities, social requirements, physical / mental disorders, learning
strategies, skills, past knowledge, socioeconomic and educational background and language.
How student Diversity Enriches the Learning Environment
A teacher may find it difficult to manage a class that is so different. Why? Because there are pupils who speak
different languages, have different talents, come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and have different attitudes and
actions. A wise teacher views variety in the classroom with respect and reverence. For some teachers, having a
diverse classroom is an exciting element of their job since it allows them to learn not just from their pupils but also
from their instructors. However, the word "fuss" irritates teachers who find it difficult to adapt to the diversity that
occurs in the classroom.
Lets discover the benefits and learning opportunities that students diversity can bring to your classroom.
