Research design

Include descriptions of all of the following categories that apply to your study

- Data collection and preparation

o What steps will you take to obtain existing data?
o How will you clean/arrange/store your data?

- Annotation
o How will you label your data?
o What categories will you apply and how will you decide (e.g., content
analysis)

- Participants
o How will you select the participants (are there any constraints on who
will/should be included?)
o How will you recruit the participants?

- Experimental procedure
o What steps will the participants be taken through? Be thorough!
o What equipment will you use (be specific: e.g., specs for computer)

- Analysis
o What kind of analysis will you perform? (I can help here)
o More simply, what values/measurements do you want to compare?
