Purpose of the Job (Overall Accountability)

 The job holder should have basic knowledge of networking troubleshooting.


 The job holder is responsible for doing tasks related to IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLAN,
WLAN, SNMP, MPLS, EIGRP, BGP, Cisco Layer 2 and 3 platforms and IOS, Firewall.
 Day to day operations and support, reporting network availability to management, and
performing scheduled tasks for each of the locations.

Principal Responsibilities / Accountabilities

 Level 1 support for handling incidents from Service Desk, assist in troubleshooting and
notification of issues. Escalate incidents if needed.
 Handle any alerts/errors. Notify Operations and Service Desk of outages.
 Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
 Make changes to switch interfaces for servers and devices.
 Routing changes and routing requests.
 Communicate & work with the managed service contractor
 L1 support including cabling, tagging, arranging cables, racking, and setting up network
devices.
 Maintaining documentation of equipment, inventory, branches details and as-is designs.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential

 Networking Degree from a college or an institute


 A fully competent computer hardware Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of
experience  
 Able to work under pressure, with the ability to multi task
 Good written and spoken English, Arabic Languages.
 Having excellent customer service is provided to internal users to aid and resolving
system related issues
