    Description of Issue

    8510 Tapes are telescopping within the Muir Tapes warrenty period of 60 days

    Details
    Rollstar has reported 212 rolls of 29MM width and Cooper has
    reported that 60 rolls of 23.7MM width slit rolls have experienced
    severe telescoping within a few weeks of being received at the
    customer's facility. In-house stock of 180 rolls of 29MM width also
    started experience significant telescoping.

    Action Required

    - The slitting operator should slit one roll from each lot and allow it to sit for a day, observed the rolls for any signs of
    telescoping.
    - The rolls should be tightly strapped with wood on both sides, no loose strapping is allowed.
    - Avoid overstocking the slit rolls to prevent potential damage.
    - Ensure to schedule with at least one day buffer time for inspecting 8510 slit rolls for any coning issues.
