CLE POWER STANDARD PER LEVEL

Grade 1

The Grade One pupils should be able to express the concept of God as a loving
and generous Father who gave His only begotten Son and provides the needs of
their families in order to grow to be good Christians ready to serve God and His
people- the Church following the examples of Mama Mary, St. Augustine and
the Filipino saints through prayers and exposures to simple paraliturgical
services

Grade 2

At the end of the school year, the Grade 2 pupils will be able to deepen their
understanding on the teachings about God as the Holy Trinity, that God as our
Father is a merciful and great a provider of everything and so He sent His Son
Jesus as our brother and a friend, and the Holy Spirit as the third Person of
the Holy Trinity. They inspire us to become true members of God’s family - the
Church through serving others, their participation in the sacraments and other
extra – liturgical service

Grade 3

The Grade Three pupils at the end of the school year should be able to
appreciate the beauty of the celebration of the Sacraments of the Reconciliation
and Eucharist. Through these sacraments, love and mercy of God is reflected
and experienced. Hence, they will grow in desire to live and experience
communion with Christ and others, able to deal religious, spiritual and moral
challenges or realities and help them grow as true Christian witnesses.

Grade 4

The Grade Four pupils at the end of the school year, should be able to imbibe
the principles of Christian faith and discipleship based on the 10
Commandments, the Beatitudes, the works of Mercy, the life Mary as the first
disciple and the values of St. Augustine as a teacher.

Grade 5

The Grade Five pupils are led to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus, the
Perfect Sacrament of God manifested in their commitment to live in love and in
service to others and expressed through meaningful celebration in the
Sacraments
D- Recognize Jesus in the celebration of the Sacraments

M- Be Christ-like in all their dealings with others

W- Meaningfully celebrate the Sacraments

Grade 6

The Grade Six pupils are led to comprehensive understanding of the formation
of the Church in relevance to God’s salvific plan for humankind

D- Deduce how the Triune God, in his love and mercy continues to carry out
his plan of salvation through His Church

M- Promote the perfect image of the Church by becoming good members of the
Church themselves

W- As one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church, celebrate the Sacraments

Grade 7

The Grade seven students will be able to understand clearly and deeply the
humanity and divinity of Jesus through His life and ministry as presented
in the gospels. Strive to be “persons-for-others” and act according to the
gospel values. And encounter Christ through the Scriptures and through full
active, and conscious participation in the Sacraments particularly in the
Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Grade 8

The Christian Living Education 8 is focused on the threefold mission of Jesus


Christ as Prophet, Priest, and King. In this course, the students are expected
to discover and understand the meaning, significance and implication of the
teachings of Jesus as they live out their prophetic mission as His disciples.
They will be challenged to respond to the call of Jesus as servant leaders by
imbibing the qualities of Jesus as a servant leader and using their talents,
gifts, and resources to serve others. Lastly, they will recognize that Jesus’ call
for an intimate relationship is constant as they accomplish their priestly duty
as baptized Christians.

Grade 9

The Grade 9 students are expected to live an awareness of the current social
issues; reflect critically in light of the Gospel; participate in the current issues
by being responsive to the needs of the Church and the community.
Grade 10

The Grade 10 students will be able to understand the importance of having a


relationship with God, leading to a well-formed sense of human dignity and
freedom, which will result in moral living and healthy relationships.
