Commitment to
Health & Safety
AAA highlights hotel partners that are going above and beyond in their
response to elevated standards of cleanliness and customer safety.
Best Western’s new commitment is called We Care Clean. This includes
finding grab-and-go and pre-plated alternatives to buffet-style break-
fasts, as well as advanced cleaning tech like electrostatic fogging,
ozone generators, and ultraviolet devices.
LEARN MORE ...
Hilton has partnered with RB, the makers of Lysol, to create a new pro-
gram called Hilton CleanStay. The program is still in development, but
will include deep cleanings of common spaces multiple times per day,
plus a shift from paper to digital. All of this is ensured with a room seal,
so that you know you’re the first to enter your lodging space.
LEARN MORE ...
Marriott hotels have upgraded their cleaning supplies for guest rooms
with hospital-grade disinfectants, and will be stocking those disinfect-
ing wipes that have been so elusive at grocery stores. Any items shared
between guests—from room keys to devices in public spaces—will get
an added layer of sanitation with ultraviolet light technology. Use their
mobile app to check in, access your room, and many other things that
would normally require you to touch a surface.
LEARN MORE ...
Been wondering what Las Vegas will look like in this new reality? MGM
is getting a start by adding sanitizer stations near all commonly touched
services in its resorts, and applying its Seven-Point Safety Plan created
with medical and scientific experts. This includes daily employee health
screenings, updated HVAC systems, employee facemasks, plexiglass at
interactive gambling stations, and more.
