Modern Slavery Policy

Scope :

The requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 Strategy is to Pursue, Prevent, Protect
and Prepare with the Aim of reducing significantly the prevalence of modern slavery.

Statement :

The Ramsey Timber Group ( RTG) are a manufacturer of timber components within the
bedding and furniture supply chain.

RTG s’ understanding of the Act is that the following requirements all need to be met for a
business to be subject to the Act:

• It is incorporated or a partnership.

• It “carries on a business, or part of a business” in the UK.

• Its turnover or the turnover of a parent company and its subsidiaries is equal to or
greater than £36 million/ annum – although this threshold is still to be formally
confirmed by way of secondary legislation.

RTG can confirm that it does not meet all the required criteria of the Act and is therefore
not subject to its requirements.

RTG are a responsible employer and have ensured that there is an appropriate Employee
Handbook available to all employees.
