RBPC 1200: Calibrating of The Cutting Head
After the machine is started up the cutting head will be initialised. The rotation axis has to be in line
with the cutting head. Open the cutting head cover. On the bottom you will find two lines, one is
stationary, the other is rotating. These lines have to be opposite to each other.
The end position of the initialisation procedure can be adjusted with ‘F8-calibration settings’ Press
F8, the following screen will appear

You can adjust the I axes with the shift turned on and the ‘I+’ and ‘I-‘ keys until the calibration lines on
the head are inline with each other. Then save the new offset by turning off the shift key and press the
‘Y=0’ key. Then initialize the cutting head again by pressing the ‘INI-TSK’ key.
To save these values press the F10 key, or to abort press the ‘ESC’ key
The tilting axis is calibrated in two steps, calibration of the top part and calibration of the torch. Both
parts are calibrated with a calibration pin that fits through two holes.

For the top part the upper calibration pin has to fit, if not you have to change the Calibration settings of
the Z-motor, press F8 and select the Z/I-motor.
You can adjust the Z axes with the shift turned on and the ‘Z+’ and ‘Z-‘ keys until the calibration pin
fits. Then save the new offset by turning off the shift key and press the ‘X=0’ key. Then initialize the
cutting head again by pressing the ‘INI-TSK’ key.
To save these values press the F10 key, or to abort press the ‘ESC’ key
