Q.1) Each of the 2 equal sides of an isosceles triangle is twice as large as the third side. If the
perimeter of the triangle is 30 cm, find the length of each side of the triangle.
Q.2) The sum of three consecutive multiples of 2 is 18. Find the numbers.

Q.3) The length of a rectangle is twice its breadth. If its perimeter is 60 cm, find the length and
the breadth of the rectangle.

Q.4) Laxmi’s father is 49 year old. He is 4 years older than three times Laxmi’s age. What is
Laxmi’s age?

Q.5) The teacher tells the class that the highest marks obtained by a student in her class is twice
the lowest marks plus 7. The highest score is 87. What is the lowest score?

Q.9) The age of a man is 27 years more than the age of his son. If the sum of their ages is 47
years, find the age of the son and his father.
Q.10) A man is thrice as old as his son. After 12 years, he will be twice as old as his son at that
time. Find their present ages.
