“TREASURE”

Foundation Text: Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be
also.
Supporting Texts:
Matthew 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not
break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Some signs that we treasure something:
1. WE MAKE TIME
John 7:6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your
time is alway ready.
Eph 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

2. WE MAKE IT AN APPLE OF THE EYE

Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple
of thine eye.
Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow
of thy wings,

3. WE ARE ALWAYS EXCITED AND MOTIVATED

1 Samuel 4:5 And when the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into
the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang
again.
Psalm 98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud
noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

CONCLUSION:
“IF WE MAKE GOD AS ON OPTIONAL, IT WILL NOT BE NECESSARY
TO OUR CHILDREN.”

Matthew 16:25-26 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and
whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man
profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what
shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not
as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your
own salvation with fear and trembling.
