Ms. Deanna Schuppel
Regional Manager
Vacation Suites Hotels
1000 Park Ave.,
New York, New York 10021

Dear Ms. Schuppel,

I am writing to complain about a bad experience during my stay at one of your hotels. I stayed
at the Vacation Suites in Buffalo, New York, on July 23-24. I travel often for business and the
Vacation Suites is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

When I checked in, the front desk clerk could not find my reservation. I had reserved a room on
the first floor with two queen-sized beds, but I was told that they had only one room available: a
room with two twin-sized beds on the third floor. When I tried to use the elevator, I was told
that it was out of order. I had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room.

When I made a reservation on your website, the rooms in the photos were spacious, sunny, and
modern. However, the room I was given was cramped, dark, and old-fashioned. The carpeted
floors were old and stained. Finally, your website says that the hotel has a pool. However, the
hotel didn’t have a pool. In fact, it didn’t have any amenities at all: no business center, no
exercise room, and no restaurant.

I am very disappointed with the quality of your hotel. You can be sure I will never stay at a
Vacation Suites hotel again.

Sincerely,

Marla Thomas
