a whopping quarter apiece, Jailor Man Jimmy
Stewart (pictured at far right with hands in the

Reds wrap up regular season

Glasgow’s American Legion baseball club had a 50-
50 showing at the First State Bank and Trust Tournament
held in Williston over the weekend. The Reds will wrap
up their regular season Saturday with a doubleheader in
Laurel against the Dodgers.
The Reds (11-19) started with a 9-4 win over
Bismarck 15’s on Friday. Then on Saturday the Reds lost
twice, 8-0 against the Williston Oilers and 6-4 against
Burlington. Glasgow battled back to defeat the Williston
15’s 8-3.
Thursday night the Reds dropped an Eastern A
twinbill to Laurel, 9-3 and 18-6. The Dodgers had their
bats working, hammering out 24 hits across the two
games with multiple players recording four hit games.
The Dodgers led from the start in the first game, scoring
two runs in the top of the first inning. They added two
runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings for an 8-0 lead.
Glasgow scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
The Dodgers weren’t as fortunate Friday night when
they hosted the Billings Cardinals in a doubleheader.
The Cardinals swept the Dodgers,5-1 and 10-4.
Playing for the Reds are Jack Kolstad, JT Sprague,
Brody Hansen, Cody Kuka, Tatum Hansen, John
Engstrom, Aiden Price, Dylan Plummer, Rance Rhoads,
Wyatt Sugg, Juliun Benson, Cash Stulc, John Grimes,
Mason Hunter, Jordan Plummer, and Beau Malnaa. The
Reds are coached by Jack Sprague.
The Billings Cardinals hold down the top spot in the
Eastern A with a 13-1 and 33-9 overall record. Billings
Blue Jays followed with an 18-2, 43-7 record, Laurel
11-5, 23-17, Miles City 9-7, 16-7, Glasgow 7-15, 11-19,
Glendive 3-11, 6-19 and Richland County 3-19, 5-25.
