The current periodic maelstrom that governs our lives, decades ago, has been impacting not
only on the personal habits of each individual and the interaction with one another but has
even penetrated the heart of the first and purest institution, which is, our family. Within the
social framework remarkable progress has been made, such as the general and natural
acceptance of same-sex unions, adoption of children by same-sex couples, and the
unobjectionable modifications to the reigning paradigm centuries on the "correct" family
structure has progressed enormously, uniting us.

But the rhythm of our days also leaves its mark on new customs in the socio-cultural scenario,
and it separates us. In some cases, the order of priorities has been altered, commanded in my
opinion primarily by "I want it all now" philosophy and the yearning for constant material
advancement, countless times at any opportunities at any cost.

I know and I am witness of many parents who do not educate, who do not water carefully the
family values, who do not allocate carefully the family values, the necessary time for the
intellectual-emotional construction of their children, but rather they exclusively became
providers for them. And, unfortunately, it is not in their power to change this reality, except for
those who have their financial futures solved.

It is then necessary to hand over to supposedly qualified hands (day care centers, nurseries,
kindergartens, etc.) to the care of our youngest children. There our kids will take their first
steps, not only motor skills, but also in the development of their social ones, understanding of
rules and calibration of emotions... in short, they will discover the world little by little and these
first impressions will be defining countless issues. The problem arises when these impressions
are not in line with what we read in the brochure the kindegarten told us.

Some years ago a father managed to record the audio of a day at daycare by hiding a device in
his son's backpack. The recording, which several of you may have already heard on the news,
gave glimpses of embarrassing situations.
Incessant crying, mistreatment of all kinds to our children, insults, incoherence in the handling
of the defenseless little ones. ‘Tribilín of San Isidro’, worked, if I am not mistaken, up to 6 days a
week. There are other day care centers where from 45 days to 5 years old they receive our
children. Do the math. And there are others, where even more terrifying episodes happen.

I will not delve into the atrocities that have been echoed by the media on countless occasions
over the years. But we know that the Tribilín case is not even the tip of the iceberg. Yes I would
like to delve into all those acts of which we are NOT aware, and will not be aware (or maybe we
will find out too late) as long as something is not changed, it is necessary that this happens.

I share this concern with my Brethren to know their opinions on the matter and in the case that
some feasible idea emerges, to be able to do something about it.

While this paper is being chiseled, somewhere in some corner a child is being abused, beaten,
being mistreated, abused or raped. That is why I leave the word to the WM and you.

I will end my writing, since my pen is crying out to be finished,
