Adjectives…
We know that adjectives describe
nouns. They give us more information
about the colour, number, size, shape
of the nouns that follow it.

Adjectives are very useful as they


help us compare many things as well,
by using the suffixes -er & -est.

Nouns are one of the most common parts of
speech. We always use nouns to talk about
people, things, animals & places.
Examples of Nouns from our story:

Nouns Phrases
Nouns Phrases are a group of words where
the noun is the main part of speech.

Noun Phrases include:


an article + adjectives + noun.

Examples of Nouns Phrases:


● the Southern White rhino
● an interesting event
● the luxurious cafe
● a green house
● a nice, peaceful field
● a soft, shallow and, grassy ditch
