It is to submit that approval was accorded under reference 1 st cited for continuation of
entrusting driving works through Private agency on works contract basis for 18 Nos.
departmental vehicles of Kadapa Zone for the financial year 2022-23 and the agreement
period of existing driving works will be expired by 31-03-2023.
In this connection vide reference 2nd to 9th proposals received for approval for further
continuation of driving works through private agency on works contract basis of the following
17 Nos. department vehicles for the year 2023-24 at an early date in order to avoid
dislocation of works as there are no regular departmental drivers available.

It is to submit as per the instructions received in the Note#4 , vide reference 2 nd cited
approval was accorded for continuation of entrusting driving works through Private agency
on works contract basis for 17 Nos. departmental vehicles in kadapa zone which includes
department vehicles in projects wing for the period 01/04/2023 to 30/06/2023.
Further instructed to “identify vehicles which have served long life
and road worthy certifcate cannot be obtained from RTA Authorities.
Such vehicles are to be survey reported in one month time duly
following dept procedure in vogue”.
Accordingly, In view of the completion of extended period on 30/06/2023, vide
references 3rd to 5th cited proposals received from the field duly requesting further

reported by 15/08/2023 and hire vehicles to be engaged in place of these
vehicles from 01/09/2023 duly following departmental procedure.Continuation of
these departmental vehicles is allowed up to 31.08.2023 only.
Ihe other departmental vehicles at Sl Nos 1,4 and 5 can be continued.
