Final Answer:
As operation managers, we are responsible for the efficiency of the business by overseeing
and managing the activities across all levels of operation. Trends, factors of change that
shape society's future context lead to innovations and innovations are the product of creativity.
Through micro-trends, we could formulate strategies and improve our performance
corresponding to what is timely and relevant to our potential customers. For instance in
family life trends, venturing to a business that offers quality time for a family that caters to
the needs and enjoyment of children would be good as old new dads who prioritize family
are increasing as well as doting parents who care for their child excessively. These types of
parents will usually do anything to provide for the needs and wants of their children.

Another one is businesses for pets like pet salons, clinics, and such. With the increased
number of families that adopt pets, businesses like these that specialize in taking care of
pets might do well. As we have noticed, most households nowadays prefer to have pets
rather than to have a child. Nevertheless, business is about providing the needs and wants
of the customers and taking opportunities for their existing demands. These 3 things are
significant factors that have a connection to trends which is why knowing these trends is
significant in making decisions that would benefit our business.
