 ABSTRACT

The extensive survey project was conducted at MINCHERI which is located at

about 45 Km from BALLARI. The reconnaissance survey was conducted at the first
day around MINCHERI, and the sites were selected for the project new tank project.
highway. Water supply and Sanitation. Old tank project. Town planning according to
their requirement. The key plan is prepared on the basis of reconnaissance survey. New
tanks are constructed to provide water for irrigation purpose. The storage reservoir is
primarily meant to store the excess water during the period of large supplies and release
it gradually for irrigation as and when required. This requires careful planning and
operation and hence many studies needed. The proposed site is situated near
MINCHERI, a. The catchment area is good with seasonal rain fall. Latitude of
15.08325N. Longitude of 76.8026E. Safe drinking water is primary need for every
human being. Water is absolutely essential not only for survival of human being but
also animals. plants and living being. The purpose of municipal water supply system
is to provide portable water. water is chemically and bacteriological safer for human
consumption. The proposed site is situated near MINCHERI, BALLARI. Karnataka.

Transportation is vital for the economical development of any region. Road transport
is one of the easily accessible means of transport. The term road or roadway thus
constructed is therefore termed highway the science and technology dealing with road
engineering is generally called HlGHWAY ENGINEERING. The stretch of 1.2 KM
of road length was surveyed along with the new road alignment. The proposed site is
situated near MINCHERI, BALLARI. Karnataka. Restoration of an existing tank in
need to increase the reduced capacity of tank. to strengthen the weakened bund and to
increase the effectiveness of the waste weir and sluice. Thereby Improving the
irrigation facilities of the area. The latitude 15.4935N. Longitude 76.4158E. The
proposed site is situated near MINCHERI, BALLARI. Karnataka. Town planning
was conducted on 5th day around MINCHERI, BALLARI. Karnataka. Bare land
was selected for town planning project. For well establishment of town, it is needed to
be well planned as per the IS specification. thereby improving facilities for every
person residing in the town.
