Hello, my name is Julia. I live in London. I am married and I have two children, Michael and Ross.
They are twelve and fifteen. They like going to school and they do lots of sports. My husband John
works as a journalist and I am a nurse. We also like sports and at weekends we all go for a walk in the
forest. We have no pets but we like animals.

On working days we get up early, around 7:30. We have breakfast, a glass of orange juice, some
coffee or milk and some toast with jam. I start work at nine. They all leave for work or school at 8:15
but I stay at home. My hospital is very near and I only need five minutes to get there. When they are
out, I make the beds and I do the cleaning. We have a small flat and it takes very little time to get
everything ready.

We all have lunch out. Normally we take some sandwiches and some fruit. Sometimes my husband
goes to a restaurant because he has some guests for his programme. Normally we are all back home
at six o’clock in the afternoon. My kids finish school at 16:30 but they stay there and practice
basketball. It’s their favourite sport. When they come back, they do their homework and I start
cooking. My husband arrives around seven and we have dinner at 7:30 pm. On the table we speak
about the things of the day. We have a good sense of humor and we like laughing at things. After
dinner we watch a bit of TV but we are not late for bed. At ten we are all in bed reading. We love
books.

At weekends, we start early too. We do the shopping first thing in the morning, we have lunch at
home and after having a rest we take the car and go to the forest. We walk for a couple of hours, pick
wild strawberries or flowers and relax from our daily routines.
