Yes, APIIC Industrial Park Allotment Regulations, 2020 has an option for rent / lease model for
A18 industrial units. The premises will be allotted on lease basis for an initial period of 33 years with an
option to buy the land after 10 years of successful business operations.

Q21 Is there any regulation to mandate time-bound delivery of services to Industries/ Businesses?
Yes, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Delivery Guarantee Act, 2017 guarantees time-bound service
delivery of 168 services related to industries/businesses. The legislation defines punitive provisions
and grievance mechanism for those violating the timelines guaranteed for services delivery to
industry and businesses.
If there a delay in service, the applicant can claim compensation under the legislation. The list of

In order to bring transparency in the system and to help businesses to know the minimum time in
which they can obtain their license/approval from the department, Andhra Pradesh government
under Ease of Doing Business has published dashboards for more than 35 services.
The dashboard will give clear picture of how many registrations/ renewals have been
approved/processed by the single window system and the average time taken by the Department.
The dashboard is updated weekly on real time basis. Date and time of modification mentioned.
