What is chemical engineering?
Chemical engineering is
the application of science,
in particular chemistry,
physics, biology and
mathematics, to the
process of converting raw
materials or chemicals
into more useful, usable
or valuable products
The branches of chemical engineering

Pharmaceutical industry.
Food and beverage industry.
Petrochemistry.
Cement and building

materials industry.
Metallurgical industry.
Production of plastics and
advanced materials.
Alternative fuels and energy
production.
Textile industry.
 Why do I study
chemical engineering?
Well, I am very interested in nuclear plants, how electricity is
generated from thermal energy produced by fission reactions in a
nuclear reactor vessel. It is very interesting the application of
chemistry which covers many areas.
 I really like chemistry ,sometimes I
do not understand and it gets
complicated but it is very interesting
how we live surrounded by

chemistry.
In the future I would like to work in
the area of energy production, I am
struck by nuclear plants.
