The new electronic platform networks the various Viessmann product families
to each other, to energy systems and directly to all digital services. This
allows all the appliances to "talk" to each other, requiring only one app for all

Heating with hydrogen – innovative technology for a climate-neutral future

The first gas condensing boilers and fuel cells certified to run with blends of
up to 20 percent hydrogen will be coming onto the market in 2021. This

New generation of heat pumps with high flow temperature

With a flow temperature of up to 70 °C, Vitocal 25x-A was developed with
modernisation projects in mind. You can continue using any existing radiators.
With its extremely low GWP (Global Warming Potential) value of 3, the "green"
refrigerant R290 (propane) these units use is especially environmentally
responsible.

Air purification and ventilation system for rooms with up to 30 people

Ventilation systems have become an even hotter topic since the start of the
Corona pandemic. Not only does the Vitovent 200-P ventilation unit reduce
the viral load in aerosols, it also lowers the CO2 load in closed rooms. The
result is optimum indoor air quality at all times, regardless of how unusual the
situation is.

Especially slimline and compact ventilation system with heat exchanger

With its low installed height of 245 mm and a maximum air flow rate of
300 m3 /h, the new Vitoair FS mechanical ventilation system is particularly
slimline and extremely compact. The polymer membrane of the recuperative
enthalpy heat exchanger recovers heat and moisture. It also prevents the
transmission of viruses, mould and bacteria.

Our new condensing boiler for liquid fuels is "Green Fuels Ready"
The new Vitoladens 300-C condensing boiler is ready to work with the
FAME liquid fuels of the future. As a "Green Fuels Ready" appliance, it can also be
operated with low greenhouse gas liquid energy sources. These include HVO
HVO PTL BTL (hydrotreated vegetable oil), PTL (power-to-liquid) fuels and higher proportions
of FAME (biodiesel) instead of fossil fuel oil.

New CHP units are particularly compact and quiet

Vitobloc 300 NG 15 and Vitobloc 300 NG 20 are the first next-generation CHP
4 9 d B ( A ) units with water-cooled synchronous generators for producing three-phase
power and heating water. With their low operating noise of less than 49 dB(A)
and small space requirement, they are suitable for new build and modernisation

appliances together in one system that can be controlled using the ViCare app.

strengthening our established partnerships and pull together virtually. Our approach to achieving this
during and after ISH 2021 will be especially focused on our digital offerings – www.viessmann.live
There you will find presentations of all the new developments in our integrated range of solutions that
are at least as comprehensive as in this brochure. For you, our trade partner friends, we will be bringing
a wide range of new products onto the market that you and many of your colleagues played a decisive
role in developing. First and foremost, I would like to highlight our new generation of heat pumps.
Another new feature is the innovative electronic platform in our heat pumps, which is based on the
electronic platform launched in 2019 for our gas condensing boilers, and which seamlessly links
our ViCare and Vitoguide digital services with the new Viessmann Energy Management. This new
electronic platform is also helping us continue consistently along the path from product to solution.
For example, via simplified options for creating systems with heat pumps, ventilation, photovoltaic,
power storage units and, if applicable, existing heat generators.

Our innovations involving the use of the new hydrogen (H2) energy source are particularly noteworthy.
The growing use of this type of fuel in the very near future will be a significant step towards
decarbonising the heating market. Our Vitodens gas condensing boilers are already certified for
operation with blends of up to 20 percent hydrogen in the natural gas. With new "H2 ready" fuel cells,
combined heat and power units and gas condensing boilers for commercial use, we offer a
comprehensive product portfolio for detached houses, apartment buildings, businesses and
municipalities. Our Vitomax industrial boilers are already able to utilise 100 percent hydrogen as their
energy source.

Added to this are innovative ventilation systems and numerous new functionalities in digital services,
such as Vitoguide, our most important digital tool for our partners. With the incorporation of the
ViStart app and the Service Assistant into Vitoguide, you now need only this one tool, which runs
on mobile devices with iOS and Android, for commissioning, service, maintenance and system
monitoring. A number of additional functions now make Vitoguide even more powerful. These
include access to advanced parameters and data trending to optimise system operation.

open platform via which Viessmann
products can be digitally networked
with the digital building services from

Digital services
The digital services extend the
functions of Viessmann products and
offer a wide range of services for trade
partners and end customers. They
support partners in commissioning
and maintenance throughout the entire
product life cycle. The end customer
can use the ViCare app to control their
heating system, for example, and
regulate the climate in individual rooms
with ViCare components.
Value added services
At the fourth level of the integrated
range of solutions, Viessmann offers
a growing number of value added
services. The FörderProfi subsidy
service and Viessmann Wärme have
already been successfully introduced
to the market. The purpose of all these
value added services is to simplify
and enhance the user and customer
experience by adding value beyond the
core product.

to commission and remotely monitor
customer systems.

remotely by optimising parameters
online, which eliminates the need to
travel to the customer site.
Uniform hardware –
fewer spare parts
The electronic platform enables
trade partners to reap the benefits of
comprehensive standardisation and
uniform hardware. This means a smaller
inventory of spare parts can be kept.
The backup and restore function can
be used to easily reinstate the "old"
appliance status after replacing a part.
Standardised electronic and hydraulic
schemes are available, no matter what
type of energy generation is involved.
Uniform sensors help simplify
maintenance for all appliance types.
The displays used to communicate
with the energy generator are largely
identical in structure and content.
Extremely futureproof

The ViCare app is automatically
extended for the end customer for
additional functions such as integrated
Viessmann Energy Management. In
addition to regular updates, customers
have the security of knowing that they
can incorporate additional system
components, such as a heat pump to

Another option could be a photovoltaic ViCare components –
feel-good climate in the entire house
system for generating electricity on site
and a Vitocharge power storage unit

Green hydrogen cycle: using renewable electricity, the electrolyser produces hydrogen (H2) and oxygen
(O2) from water (H2O). H2 ready heating appliances burn hydrogen highly efficiently, producing water
again in addition to heat for heating, and completing the cycle.

The use of hydrogen (H2) in the energy sector is considered a major contribution
towards achieving a successful energy transition. H2 is produced from water by
electrolysis.
The electricity required for this comes from wind power and photovoltaic systems.

Hydrogen
_ is not toxic, corrosive or radioactive,
_ does not contaminate water, and does not cause damage to nature or the
environment,
_ does not produce any climate-damaging CO2 during combustion.

Its increasing importance is clearly reflected in numerous political initiatives.

These include the German government's National Hydrogen Strategy, the
EU Commission's "Hydrogen Strategy for a climate-neutral Europe" and the
"European Clean Hydrogen Alliance", along with a variety of H2 strategies being
pursued by the federal states.

With systems that can use up to 100 percent hydrogen and fuel cell heating
appliances, Viessmann is a leading innovator in the use of this new energy

National Hydrogen Council.
Heating with hydrogen:

Germany has a goal of becoming
climate-neutral and reducing CO2
emissions to zero by 2050. This can
only be achieved if the burning of
fossil fuels such as oil and natural gas
is avoided as far as possible. But not
every house is suitable for heating
with a heat pump or electric heating.

Hydrogen can help
significantly reduce CO2
To achieve this goal, it is becoming
apparent that there will need to be a
sensible mix of electrically powered
heat generators, as well as gas
condensing boilers and fuel cells that
use hydrogen by 2050. Hydrogen
produced in a CO2 neutral way is
particularly important in this equation.
This new fuel type makes it possible
to bring about a rapid and substantial

needed for the production, distribution
and use of this new type of fuel

The new Vitodens family is already equipped
for blends of up to 20 percent hydrogen.
The Vitodens 1xx gas condensing
family includes the wall mounted boilers
Vitodens 100-W and Vitodens 111-W  with ViCare
(with integral 46 litre stainless steel
loading cylinder) at very attractive
prices. Thanks to modern assemblies,
the heating appliances can even be
installed in small recesses to save
space. No side service clearances are
required, since all the connections are
easily accessible from the front. This
makes Vitodens wall mounted boilers
ideal for modernising apartments or
detached houses.
The Vitodens 111-F version is a
floorstanding compact appliance. With
its enamelled 100 litre loading cylinder
or 130 litre DHW cylinder with internal
indirect coil, this energy centre ensures
a high level of DHW convenience.
Ready for solar power
The Vitodens 141-F compact appliance
requires just 0.4 square metres of
floor space. High DHW convenience
is guaranteed by a dual mode loading
cylinder with 170 litre capacity and a
solar indirect coil. This means that the
unit is factory-equipped for connection
to the Vitosol solar collectors.
Stainless steel
makes all the difference
The MatriX-Plus burner's special
stainless steel MatriX surface is
resistant to high temperatures, which
ensures economical performance
and a long service life. The corrosion-
resistant stainless steel Inox-Radial
heat exchanger – also made of
stainless steel – efficiently converts
98 percent of the energy used into
heat.
The fully automatic Lambda Pro
combustion controller adapts
automatically to all gas types and
ensures continuously clean and
efficient combustion. All appliances are
also certified for operation with up to
20 percent hydrogen (H2) content for
reducing CO2 emissions.
Comfort and safety
The electronic platform is equipped
with an integrated WiFi interface.
This connects the heating system
directly to the internet if required.
The ViCare app makes operating the
heating system with a smartphone
easy and intuitive. It sets the course for
digital services and is in direct contact
with the local heating contractor.
The ViCare app provides information
on the current operating status of the
energy system, while time programs
for central heating and DHW heating
contribute to energy cost savings. It
is compatible with almost all iOS and
Android mobile devices.

ViCare can use the smartphone's GPS
function* to detect how far the user is
from the heating system. If specified
distances are exceeded, the room
temperature is automatically reduced.
You can also expand the system with
a ViCare thermostat to enjoy even
more comfort and efficiency.

The success story of the Vitovalor PT2/
PA2 fuel cell appliances continues:
2021 will see the launch of the fourth
generation, making these the first
fuel cells on the market that can be
operated with blends of up to 20 percent
hydrogen. This makes Viessmann one
of the leading innovators in the use of
hydrogen in conjunction with fuel cell
technology.
Longer service life and
higher electricity yield
The service life of the new fuel cell
and the stack itself is 85,000 hours of
runtime. That is 5000 hours more than
the previous model, equal to a service
life of around 15 years. The increase
in runtime from 45 to 120 hours until
stack regeneration contributes to a
higher electricity yield.
Vitovalor is designed for new detached
and two-family houses. With a
maximum return temperature of 50 °C,
these fuel cell appliances can also be
installed in professionally insulated
existing buildings.
Greater independence
with ViShare from EMS
Vitovalor system operators can
participate in the EMS ViShare Energy
Community: if they cannot use all the
electricity they generate, the surplus
is made available to the community.
If, on the other hand, members need
more electricity than the Vitovalor is
generating, they can draw energy from
the community. This enables fuel cell
operators to become less dependent
on electricity from the public grid. The
costs are a low monthly flat rate.
The degree of self-sufficiency can even
be increased to up to 90 percent in
combination with a fuel cell, photovoltaic
system and power storage unit, by
initially storing surplus self-generated
power in the power storage unit and
using it as needed, such as for charging
an electric vehicle.
Simplified installation
The integration of fuel cells,
photovoltaic systems and power
storage units into one system has
been greatly simplified: only one meter
is now needed at the grid connection
point. It used to be necessary to install
three meters.

operation even at low outside

During the warmer months, the

can be bypassed completely via the
integral automatic bypass damper. This
temperature controlled circuit allows
cool outdoor air to enter the interior at

Vitoair FS mechanical ventilation system
is not only especially slimline, it is also
very compact. Moreover, it operates
extremely quietly at its maximum
output level.

System integration with

electronic platform
Vitoair FS is compatible with the
electronic platform and can be
seamlessly combined with a Vitocal
heat pump from Viessmann. The
system can also be expanded at any
time with additional components,
such as a photovoltaic system and
a Vitocharge power storage unit for
self-generated electricity. The
Vitoair FS and Vitocal can then
be operated almost completely
independently of the public grid.

Optimum indoor air quality

outdoor air on the supply air side. This
reduces the amount of room air that
is too dry or too humid. The fact that
the polymer membrane also prevents
the transmission of viruses, mould and
bacteria makes Vitoair FS a hygienically
perfect solution.

Straightforward installation
and commissioning
There are a number of installation

More than a quarter of all heat
generators in Germany are oil fired.
Almost 4.8 million boilers are outdated
and inefficient. In many cases,
affordable alternatives are either
completely out of the question or are
not economically viable. Nevertheless,
politicians, environmentalists, energy
experts and design & build specialists
have been discussing modernisation
steps for this heating technology for
years. What we do know is that from
2026 onwards, new oil boilers may
only be installed in combination with
renewable energies.

The Vitoladens 300-C oil condensing
boiler is a premium product in its
class. A proven energy system for
detached and two-family houses, it
is now equipped to run with various
reduced carbon liquid fuels. These
include HVO (hydrotreated vegetable
oil), PTL (power-to-liquid) fuels and
higher proportions of FAME (biodiesel)
instead of fossil fuel oil. This boiler is
therefore futureproof and can play an
important role in climate protection.

Separate units for the boiler and the
casing simplify handling and prevent
dirt or damage on the high grade
design fronts. The double casing plays
a significant role in noise reduction.
The integral oil filters minimise the
odours which can occasionally occur
with oil boilers. The connection for
the oil line is now at the rear of the
appliance.
Convenient maintenance
access from the front
All parts that require maintenance
(burner, combustion chamber, trap,
oil filter) can be accessed from the
front. The trap, dirt separator and
oil filter are included in the standard
delivery of the Vitoladens 300-C.
The optional 40 cm high plinth allows
even better accessibility. A design
cover is also available for a visually
standardised appearance.

New packaging
simplifies transport
The secret lies in the rounded base
ring which forms part of the transport
packaging. This makes it much easier
to transfer the cylinder from the pallet
– by tilting the Vitocell, with the base
ring still attached, and rolling it to the
installation site.

The ring is then removed by tilting

the cylinder slightly sideways. In the
past, the base of the cylinder could
easily become damaged or dented by
incorrect handling.

Coolant, heating and exhaust gas
pipework between the key elements
is fully assembled and insulated where
necessary. For the purpose of vibration
isolation, all pipe joints are provided
with metal expansion joints or flexible
hose connections and are designed
as flanged or flat-gasket threaded
connections. The engine is filled at the
factory with a water/glycol mixture,
circulated by an electric coolant pump,
to protect against corrosion.

Viessmann offers the new

Vitosol 200-T (type SPX) vacuum
tube collectors on a project-specific
basis. Two modules are available. In
the 5.05 m2 standard versions, the
collectors and tubes are assembled
at the construction site. They are
recommended for collector surface
areas of 200 to 600 m2.

The 10.3 m2 collector consists of a

casing, vacuum tubes and a mounting
frame, and is supplied prefabricated. It
can be installed rapidly using a crane.
This is the ideal size for applications
in local heating networks (such as
bioenergy villages) and for generating
industrial process heat.

Heat pipe principle for

high operational reliability
Thanks to the heat pipe principle, the
Vitosol 200-T (type SPX) offers
excellent operational reliability. Its
vacuum tube technology makes
network temperatures of up to 120 °C

The location function in the ViCare app enables average heating
costs savings of 15 percent. The precise position data of the
smartphone is used exclusively for heating control.

as applicants with a maximum of two

for the subsidy to be disbursed. The
installer's bill, on the other hand,
usually needs to be paid earlier. If
eligibility for subsidies is confirmed,

been disbursed, the loan can be repaid
immediately and in full via a special
repayment clause.

Digital services and value added services for our partners complement our range
of solutions

The FörderProfi subsidy service from Viessmann simplifies the process of applying for subsidies, with
everything carried out online, from the free initial eligibility check through to application and disbursement
of funds. New: with the Viessmann subsidy guarantee, construction work can start immediately.

Service Plus With our digital services and value added services, we and our partners ensure maximum
convenience and reliability for system users. From system-specific commissioning to full service
contracts, we offer carefully tailored solutions for customer satisfaction.

Logistik Plus Efficient ordering and delivery processes ensure that all products and spare parts from Viessmann are
available fast, anywhere in Germany. Through the Night Line service, available items ordered by 6 pm
are ready for collection by 7 am the following day at the specified depot.

Heating with the all-inclusive support package: up to 15 years of all-inclusive service and a complete
guarantee with absolutely no acquisition costs. Customers only pay their monthly rent;
Viessmann Wärme takes care of everything else. It could hardly be easier.

With ViShare, the end customer becomes part of the Energy Community and actively shapes the
energy transition. Energy Market Solutions GmbH, a stakeholder in the Viessmann Group, is the
operator and contractual partner in ViShare. ViShare's 100% green electricity tariffs help to reduce
energy costs. The flat rate electricity tariff makes it easier for end customers to plan ahead as they
know in advance precisely what their monthly costs will be.

Vitoleads Save valuable time when formulating quotations: the heating system calculator allows quotations
to be generated automatically online at any time of day. Interested parties that contact Viessmann
through one of our portals such as heizung.de are passed directly on to the trade partner.

The graphic interface in the ViCare app has been kept simple for intuitive heating system operation.
Green for go – the user can see at a glance in the app whether their heating system is working as
it should. ViCare can be used to regulate Viessmann gas and oil heating systems built from 2004
ViCare onwards and heat pumps built from 2010 onwards.

Trade partner software with a vast array of functions for monitoring and controlling systems in
detached houses and apartment buildings, and the fastest access to our Technical Service. Within
Vitoguide, the trade partner can make a telephone call or arrange a callback with the Viessmann
customer service, and all of the relevant data about the customer's system is automatically relayed.
Familiar digital services such as ViStart are now integrated into Vitoguide.

Viessmann Energy Management enables a transparent application for electric and thermoelectric
energy systems. All consumers are networked and can be controlled energy efficiently.

The GridBox visualises the flow of energy in the home and is the central link for electrical components
GridBox such as the power storage unit, photovoltaic system and other domestic power consuming appliances.

Manufacturer-independent smart home control centre that connects products from different
manufacturers and enables their app-based control and automation.
PartnerShop Viessmann's PartnerShop gives trade partners an ordering and quotation service that
integrates familiar functions from Quote Assist and the spare part app. Everything can be
ordered online, from individual parts to a complete heating system – regardless of the time,
day of the week and mobile device.

Quote Assist The online application simplifies the compilation of individual heating systems with convenient
user guidance through all of the steps required. The result is a complete and technically
validated quotation.

System Adviser The online application is used for orientation in sales discussions and enables rapid system
selection as well as generation of quotations based on just a few individual input variables,
with flexible design options at the same time.

Spare part app This app provides access to the most important spare part information. Whether it relates
to prices, usage, predecessor/successor parts or downloading technical documents – all
information is supplied as soon as the material number is entered or the barcode recognition
feature is used. Spare parts can be ordered in the app.

Schematic It takes just a few steps to locate the right hydraulic scheme, whether a mono or dual mode
system. There is a wide range of data and information available for virtually every application,
Browser including wiring diagrams, bills of material and function descriptions.

Viessmann portals benefit interested customers in a number of ways: viessmann.de is

viessmann.de Viessmann's corporate website. It provides information on all products and contact options for
heizung.de trade partners. heizung.de is a brand-independent information platform for interested parties
and a central point of contact for end users.

The central point of entry to the comprehensive range of further training courses offered by
Viessmann the Viessmann Academy. Provides information on all seminar dates offered by sales offices as
learning space well as online seminars, instruction videos and a wealth of useful information material relating
to Viessmann's range of solutions. The Viessmann learning room offers appropriate learning
opportunities for all groups of learners.

Building Energy The Viessmann Building Energy Economy Check helps users to determine individual
modernisation options and savings potential quickly, easily and reliably. The program and its
Economy Check calculation are certified by TÜV Rheinland and give a fully objective result.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) digitally facilitates the design, construction and operation of
BIM Planning Suite building structures. The software enables TGA design engineers to participate in BIM projects.
It allows users to call up Viessmann products and edit common AutoCAD drawings.

Vitodesk The software service provides information on software and online applications, gives access to
useful online tools and has important data ready for download. Continually enhanced programs
facilitate the daily work of our trade partners and are characterised by their ease of use.

ViBooks The clear, centralised document retrieval system provides access to more than 30,000 stored
PDFs (e.g. installation and service instructions, price sheets and technical guides) – any time,
anywhere. Runs on desktop PCs, tablets and smartphones.
