INTRODUCTION

Adolf Hitler was born on 20 April 1889, Braunau, Austro-Hungarian Empire, was the
leader of the Nazi movement and eventually became the dictator of Germany. He
gained power and popularity during the years of the Great Depression thanks to his
propagandistic oratory and became the ultimate political leader.

The Führer’s expansionist ambitions were the cause of the outbreak of World War II
with the invasion of Poland. His racism and anti-Semitism led him to order terrible
ethnic cleansing in concentration and extermination camps such as Auschwitz in
what became known as the Holocaust.

Hitler committed suicide on 30 April 1945, in his bunker, when Soviet troops took
Berlin in 1945 and Germany lost World War II.

World War II was an armed conflict that took place between 1939 and 1945, directly
or indirectly involving most of the military and economic powers of the time, as well
as numerous Third World countries.

The Second World War took place mainly on the European, Asian and African
continents. Troops from the two opposing sides, known as the Allied and Axis
Powers, as well as from the countries involved voluntarily or by force in a conflict
that did not distinguish between military forces and civilians, fought against each
other.

DEVELOPMENT

KILLING HITLER is a podcast that tells us about Winston’s journey in time from the
year 2039 to 1939 using a “Quantum Entanglement”, whose mission is to end the
life of the Führer, the Nazi dictator of Germany, through this he discovers a
completely different world, It is important to mention that changing something from
the past usually brings repercussions to the future, but in this mission would be using
“QETT” this method allows time travel, but to a parallel universe, where the death of
Adolf Hitler in that timeline would not affect the future and thus the world would be
freed from tyranny.

The actions and events of the past cannot be changed today, but thanks to this
mission it would be possible to end with the character that has marked history the
most, the person who managed to change the ideology to “Nazism” of an entire
country, where the superiority of the Aryan race and its right to rule the world was
affirmed, during his dictatorship millions of Jews, gypsies, homosexuals, Jehovah’s
witnesses and other minorities were killed or deprived of their freedom and health,
in concentration camps or extermination camps.

Winston had the opportunity to exchange a conversation with this controversial

character, where he stressed to him that he was a man from the future who would
do away with him, Hitler was interested in magic and the supernatural, most likely
he thought it was magic, some kind of witchcraft from the future, so to some extent
he assumed it was true. Throughout this talk both men defended their position, both
Winston and his reasons for assassinating Hitler, to avoid the start of the Second
World War and all the negative things it brought to humanity and Hitler defending
why his death or whether he won or lost in the war would bring about a change for
the future or be a key to success for the better. Which of the two was right in this
story? Would it be relevant to believe the word of a man who provoked an entire
world war for an idea of superiority?
CONCLUSION

This podcast was very interesting for us for several reasons, those were selected
because were important at the moment and probably would be practical to explain,
that will be mentioned below:

Firstly, Hitler is a very crucial character for the world history that we know, due to his
way of thinking and acting, achieving a war that, of course brought great negative
consequences for Germany and the other countries of the world that participated or
not in it, but it was also a crucial element for peace agreements to be created and
no more conflicts between countries, clearly it is a historical event that is part of our
past as humanity, it is interesting how it could be modified through a time machine
the past.

It allows us to know the perspective of the Führer and Winston, the different values
and ideals of each one, how good can overcome evil on a large scale and how a
decision can be taken assertively or not, these can generate positive things or can
be crucial for a devastating end.

It is a very good example of the battle between good and evil, as we are put in a
dilemma, between choosing the path left by Hilter, full of evil and immoral activities,
or taking Winston’s path, where the aim is to prevent these events from happening
in a certain way through a system.

It is interesting to consider what would have happened if… Letting us see the events
that could have occurred if one of the paths presented had been chosen.

Maybe avoiding good things, maybe avoiding bad things, consequently the
importance of this audiovisual material shows a great support to imagination and
creativity, questioning what is known or what could have been known.
