WORLD TEACHER’S DAY

Interna onal Teacher’s Day is celebrated on October 5 every

year.The date marks the commemora on when a special
conference was held by UNESKO in Paris on 5th October 1966.The
event set standards for the rights and responsibili es of
teachers,their ini al prepara on,futher educa on and learning
condi ons.
Teacher’s Day is celebrated to honour the contribu on of
teachers to the society.It is di cult to describe in a piece of paper
all the felling I have for the teachers who raised me.When I was
li le,my parents told me that teachers are my second parents.We
must love and respect them.The more I grow,the more I understand
that teachers have a special place in our hearts.We spend most of
the day with them,we learn from them,laugh,share problems.We
spend the most beau ful me of life with our teachers.
Once the teacher asked me what an ideal teacher would be like
for me.To me,the ideal teacher is someone who makes me have fun
with learning,someone who supports me.Not everyone has the
chance to nd and meet the ideal teacher,but those lucky enough
to nd this person are blessed.I am one of those lucky people.
They make the world a be er place.”The teacher is like a candle
that consumes itself to light the path of others”.
