Stimulate participants interest through a riddle. For example, I have two hands, but I cannot scratch myself. phone
What am I?
OR
Participants sing a familiar song on clock e.g. ‘My grandfather’s clock’. Then show a
clock/wristwatch/mobile phone to participants and let them talk about its uses and importance.

 ACTIVITIES (45mins)

Activity 1

Participants share personal experiences on how they had managed their time in an activity effectively
for a whole class discussion.

Activity 2
Participants in convenient groups undertake a research on some key strategies or tips employed in Time Smart mobile phones, Researching,
Management. Internet, Laptop/computer, Analyzing
NB: Participants may use the following tips as a guide: books, flip chart,A4 sheets Prioritizing
i. Create a to-do list ,projector Group work
ii. Set SMART goals Note taking
iii. Make much use of technology etc.

Participants presents finding for discussions.

Activity 3 books, flip chart,A4 sheets presentation
Participants in groups of four (4) plan and present on how time can be effectively managed in planning Group work
the following activities :
i. A lesson delivery
ii. Staff meeting
iii. PLC meeting
iv. Open day

Participants present plan for discussions.


 PLENARY (10mins)
Participants to reflect on the lesson and write down in their learning journals what they have learned.
Then, they consider how they would apply the concept or skill in a practical setting.
