2.6 Operating Modes

The AF60-HD was tested with a Laptop PC connected to the AF60-HD’s PoE Injector pinging the IP
address of the AF60-HD. The AF60-HD was also paired to a second AF60-HD wirelessly.
2.7 EUT Exercise Software
The software used for testing the AF60-HD was command prompts on the Laptop computer.
2.8 Performance Criteria
For this EUT, the client has stated that the performance criteria defined in EN 55035, ETSI EN 301 489-1
and ETSI EN 301 489-17 should be applied as follows: The EUT shall continue to operate as intended,
with some degradation of performance as noted below.
2.8.1 Criteria A
During and after the test the EUT shall continue to operate as intended without operator intervention. No
degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed below a minimum performance level specified
by the manufacturer when the EUT is used as intended. The performance level may be replaced by a
permissible loss of performance. If the minimum performance level or the permissible performance loss is
not specified by the manufacturer, then either of these may be derived from the product description and
documentation, and by what the used may reasonable expect from the EUT if used as intended
2.8.2 Criteria B
After the test, the EUT shall continue to operate as intended without operator intervention. No
degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed, after the application of the phenomena below a

TR5801_AF60-HD_EN55035_01 Page 7 of 39
PROPRIETARY
427 West 12800 South, Draper, UT 84020

performance level specified by the manufacturer, when the EUT is used as intended. The performance
level may be replaced by a permissible loss of performance.

During the test, degradation of performance is allowed. However, no change of operating state or stored
data is allowed to persist after the test.

If the minimum performance level (or the permissible performance loss) is not specified by the
manufacturer, then either of these may be derived from the product description and documentation, and
by what the user may reasonably expect from the EUT if used as intended.
2.8.3 Criteria C
During and after testing, a temporary loss of function is allowed, provided the function is self-
recoverable, or can be restored by the operation of the controls or cycling of the power to the EUT by the
user in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Functions, and/or information stored in non-volatile memory, or protected by a battery backup, shall not
be lost.
2.9 Monitoring of the EUT
The AF60-HD was monitored via two command prompt applications on the Laptop PC
monitoring the AF60-HD IP address of the DUT and wirelessly pinning the second paired AF60-
HD to insure connectivity and correct operation.

2.11 Modification Incorporated/Special Accessories on EUT
There were no modifications made to the EUT during testing to comply with the specification.
2.12 Deviation, Opinions, Additional Information or Interpretations
from Test Standard
The following deviations opinions, additional information or interpretations of the test specification were
made during testing.
• The DUT was tested with multiple devices on the test table for RF immunity, which the
manufacturer declared was acceptable due to the small physical size of DUT and the other
devices in the test field.
