“Where do I book tickets?

- Tickets for general entry and the mixed tournament can be purchased from this
site: http://vr-lan.com

“What dates is it taking place?”

- The event will take place on the 7th and 8th of April in 2023

“Where is the venue?”

- The LAN is taking place at The 1865, Southampton.

“Where do I book the hotel?”

- Book anywhere you like! The venue doesn't have accomodation attached to it. It is
located in Southampton city center and there are tonnes of hotels and Air BnB
options to book. We will be trying to setup some group buy hotel deals also.

“How old do I have to be?”

-AYou MUST be 17 or over to attend without a LEGAL guardian. You will be ID'd upon
check in to the hotel room and again on entry to the event.  (In the UK you can
apply for a https://www.citizencard.com/  - If coming from abroad you will have
your passport)   -  Guardians must be with the ticket holder

“Are headsets provided?”

-No, you must bring your own Oculus Quest 1/2 if you are playing on either day

“What tickets do I buy?”

-If you only want to come and hang out and spectate games then the general entry is
for you, if you would like to participate in the mixed tourney on the first day
then buy the Mixed Tournament Ticket, if you finish in the top 4 teams tourney then
you cannot participate in the mixed tourney and if you have bought a ticket prior
to finishing in the top then it will be refunded and resold. Note that if you want
to play in the mixed tournament then you must also buy a general entry ticket,
there is a maximum of 32 available mixed tournament tickets that go on sale

“What time are the games?”

-Games will begin at 10am for to fit in double elimiation. Estimated end time for
each day is 10pm - A full schedule will be released closer to the event

“What’s the rules on alcohol?”

-The venue bar will be open and those 18+ (ID required) will be given a wristband,
those with the bands will be permitted to drink. Giving alcohol to somebody
underage can result in you being removed from the venue.

“Will there be local servers?”

-We are hopeful that we can get a LAN build for Echo from RAD. But it will be
possible that we just run on the live build, everyone will have equal ping on the
same network.

“What do the T-shirt’s look like?”
-The design is yet to be finalised and all will be revealed down the line.

“Should I bring headphones or anything else?”

-The LAN will likely get quite loud so bringing a pair of headphones to plug in
while you play is highly recommended. You will not be supplied with headphones. You
should also bring battery packs, as if you disconnect due to low battery, that will
be instigate a pause.

"Refunds"

- There will be no refunds for the general entry tickets as this money is going
towards expenses already paid out. If for any reason the tournaments get cancelled
mixed tickets will be refunded and a community meet event will be arranged instead,
if cancelled, T-shirts will be an optional refund.

"Is Onward also being played"

- We are going to host a small side tournament for Onward. The format is still
being decided and tickets will be on sale for this when it is finalised. More
details will come via discord or email.

"A Note On Respect"

- We have a wide and diverse crowd of people attend our events. It should be known
that your behaviour online before the event, will reflect upon your ability to
enter the event. We do not have any tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia or any
other toxic behaviours. If you exhibit behaviours online prior to the event that
makes us think that you might not treat others at the LAN with respect, we reserve
the right to refund and void your tickets with no prior notice.  It's very simple,
in the words of Bill and Ted, just be most excellent to each other.
