The document discusses key aspects of the Schrodinger equation in quantum mechanics. It explains that the Schrodinger equation serves as the fundamental equation analogous to Newton's second law in classical mechanics. The wavefunction psi(x) is the solution to the Schrodinger equation and does not directly provide the position of a particle, but Born's statistical interpretation allows extracting the probability of finding a particle in a particular region of space from the wavefunction.

Normalize means that if we multiply the wave-function
"Ѱ(x)" with some constant and that constant must be equals to 1.
Born Interpretation:-
Born Interpretation tells that if you have a wave function and if you multiply its complex conjugate and you integrate along the X-axis (if its motion is restricted to X-axis) between two some points say X=a and X=b then it represents its probability of finding a particle in that region.
Like in Newtonian Mechanics its fundamental equation 2 ∂r is Newtons 2nd law F=ma. Here "a" is ∂t . 2
So what is r here, r is nothing but a position vector of
2nd law. It is the solution of Newtons 2nd law. It decribes the past, present and future of a particle. In Quantum Mechanics there is a Schrodinger
Equation. Ѱ(x) is the solution of Schrodinger
Equation. Ѱ(x) doesn’t tells us anything like position. Particles position can be extracted but it is not given by Ѱ(x).
How the position of a particle can be extracted ? This is given by Born Statistical Interpretation. Born Interpretation tells that the probability of Particle but it doesn’t gives the exact location of particle.
