The letter of “‫”ز‬
‫زَ ْيتا‬
‫ز‬
• in this lesson we will study the letter of ‘‫ “ز‬zai.  
 
its name is zai its voice is “z“. 
 
(‫ )ز‬exactly pronounced as “z” in English. 
 
Look at the letter of"‫ “ ز‬with one dot
how to connect the letter (‫ )ز‬with other letters
• look at the word of (‫ )زيت‬
• The letter ‫ ز‬came in the beginning of word
• When ‫ ز‬come in the beginning it comes separately
‫ز‬
Because this letter isn't connected with letters come
after it .
But we connect it with preceding letters.
• So that is the shape of it in the beginning must be
separated ‫ز‬
َ‫الخبـز‬
In the middle and in the end
• Look at the word of َ‫ الخبـز‬and ‫ يزيد‬
• The letter ‫ ز‬came in the middle of word
• When ‫ ز‬come in the middle or in the end of word as
we draw a short line before it to connect it with one
before it.
• This letter cannot connect with the one after it
• So that is shape of it in the middle of word or in the
end of word ‫ــــز‬
Separately
some times comes separately in the end as ”‫“ز‬

Look at the letter of"‫ “ ج‬has one (.)dot in

• The letter ‫ ج‬came in the beginning of word
• When “ ‫ ج‬come in the beginning we cut this part ‫ ج‬

• And we add a short line ‫ جــ‬To connect it with other letters
• So that is the shape of it in the beginning ‫جــ‬

• So that the shape of it in the middle ‫ ــجــ‬.

• We connected it with the one before it by
drawing this horizontal line ‫ ــــج‬

Letter thaa (‫)ث‬
• in this lesson we will study the letter ‘‫ “ ث‬thaa.  
 
its name is thaa its voice is “th“. 
 
(‫ )ث‬exactly pronounced as “th” in English. 
 
Look at the letter "‫ “ ث‬just has three (...)dotes
above
Now we will learn how to connect the letter (‫ )ث‬with
other letters
• look at the word of (‫ )ثَمانية‬
• The letter ‫ ث‬came in the beginning of word

• When “ ‫ ث‬come in the beginning we cut this part
‫ ث‬
• To connect it with the word to connect with other letters
• So that is the shape of it in the beginning ‫ثـــ‬

‫يَث ْ ِرب‬

• Look at the word of ‫ يَـث ْ ِرب‬

• The letter ‫ ث‬came in the middle of word
• We connected it with the one before it by drawing

• We connected it with the one before it by
drawing this horizontal line ‫ ــــث‬
So that is shape of it in the end ‫ــــث‬

• we will study the letter “thal”.  
 
It is pronounced as “dh” in English. 
 
Look at the letter of (‫ )ذ‬with one dote

In the beginning
• look at the word of (‫ )ذهب‬
• The letter ‫ذ‬came in the beginning of word
• When ‫ ذ‬come in the beginning it comes separately
‫ ذ‬
Because this letter isn’t connected with letters came after it .
But we connect it with preceding letters.
• So that is the shape of it in the beginning must be separated ‫ذ‬

• َ َ ‫ أ‬
َ‫خذ‬
