Procedure for downloading and monitorering software on CEAG modules.

Connect the cables to the module bus on the CEAG rack and to the comm. unit with power-
supply and from there to the Com-port on the computer.

Open CEAG software by clicking on icon.

Click on “Done”

 Enter “User” and “Password”

You are now connected.

If you want to monitor the existing software installed in the CEAG comm. unit press this
icon.

When “Up load” completed, a popup window will come on the screen. Click “NO”

You are now Online and can monitor any module by clicking on “Module Data” and “Edit
Module Data”

Then right click on the module you want to monitor.

If you want to download software to comm. Unit:

When you are at this screen, press “open”

And then find your software: either for Drilling or Mud.

Click on the software and then press the “Open” button.

The screen will now look like this:

To downloade to com unit, go to: Device – Store All In Com Unit – Without Restarting Com
unit.

When message : “Do you want to reload the engineering parameters from an existing file?”
Comes up, you press NO

After downloaded, go to: Specials – Actual Com Unit – Restart Com Unit.
There will be coming a popup window saying that output will be initialized. Press OK.

You are now Online and can monitor any module by clicking on “Module Data” and “Edit
Module Data”

Then right click on the module you want to monitor.

When finish click on END in main menu.

This will come up: Click NO

Program closes.
