1. What is the curriculum field all about?

Beginning 19th century, curriculum has been focusing on integrating


subject with reality world and developing it design to be more
student-centered learning and practical of knowledge. These
progressive ideas will evolve and grow dynamically as its needed.

2. When has the curriculum considered been fulfilled?

Curriculum must include four major components which are goals,


methods, materials, and assessments. These essential four components
must be applied to enhance student learning and facilitate instruction.

3. Why are the four components must be included?

These four components are integrating to each other. The curriculum


should be explicit in the form of a scope and sequence of skills to be
addressed, breadth and depth of learning. Therefore curriculum’s
methods is technically empirical that can be measured and adjusted in
order to promote a student’s ability to understand and apply content
and skills. Furthermore, the curriculum’s goals and methods are
implemented if the materials choices intentionally chosen which
reflect student interest, cultural diversity, world perspectives, and
address all types of diverse learners. Finally the assessment is a
finding that shows the effectiveness of the learning that has been
done. Assessment needs to be dynamic in line with the desired
direction of education.

4. Where is the direction of the curriculum?

Building quality curriculum is the dream of any country, but one of


the main features to be paid attention to is achieving educational
justice.

Quality education as a friendly, safe, and clean learning environment.


They are always protected physically, socially, emotionally and
psychologically, while students are healthy, happy, active in learning,
the curriculum is relevant for the future, especially related to 3M basic
education.

Next, the school has an efficient service system and good learning
facilities, trained teachers focus on student-centered teaching practices
with continuous learning support from the family and community. It
ultimately produces students with knowledge, skills, positive attitudes
towards themselves, family, community, national values and
citizenship.
