The Customer Familiarization process is intended to familiarize the primary learner with the LC-MS/MS system. The primary learner practices using the system by following the step-by-step ‘exercises from the Introduction to LC-MS/MS Operation Series for SCIEX Triple Quadrupole and QTRAP Systems eLearning, The process is intended to provide hands-on operation for the primary learner. The laboratory manager must designate a primary leamer. The primary leaner will be the focus of the familiarization, and will have the opportunity to perform the hands-on exercises. In addition, Up to two observers will be accommodated Note: Before beginning the familiarization, the primary learner must have validated the customer account by following the directions in the e-mail received from SCIEX, and then completed the assigned online training at SCIEX University™. A certificate of completion must be available Failure to complete the required Introduction to LC-MS/MS Operation Series for SCIEX Triple Quadrupole and QTRAP Systems eLeaming before the arrival of the Field Service Employee (FSE) will result in forfeit of the hands-on exercise during the on-site familiarization by the FSE. The Customer Familiarization in this checklist completes the first phase of the learning experience for the primary learner. When the familiarization is complete, the primary learner can log back on to SCIEX University™ at training.sciex.com to continue learning. This Customer Familiarization Checklist typically requires a minimum of four hours to complete. Estimated duration is indicated for each section of the checklist. Actual duration will vary depending on both the level of experience of the primary learner and the options installed. Topics covered will vary depending on the system configuration Tip! Many of the topics listed in this document are available as supplemental online eLearning modules. To access them, go to SCIEX University™. Registration is required to access this web page.
