OBJECTIVE
I aspire to be a great teacher. I have an Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree
and am working towards my bachelor’s degree. I am kind-hearted,
trustworthy, honest, optimistic, and overall, a joyful person. I work well with
others and can adjust to different environments that surround me.

SKILLS & ABILITIES


I can fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish.
Received an “A” in a Business Computer Applications class. I learned how to
effectively use the Microsoft Office 2016, which included Word, Excel,
Access, and PowerPoint.

EXPERIENCE
August 2020- Bilingual Aide, Grand Prairie ISD
July 2023 As a bilingual aide, I visited all the dual language classrooms every day. I
helped the teachers by pulling students for one-on-one and small groups,
making anchor charts, decorating bulletin boards, printing, and much more.
During the pandemic, there was a sub shortage so if there was no one to
cover a class, they would put me in there. I subbed in every grade level and
even in specials classes. During one semester, I was the 2nd grade dual
language teacher because the teacher went out for maternity leave.

January 2023-
ACE Folklorico Club, Grand Prairie ISD
May 2023
I started a ballet folklorico club in my school. I would stay after school to
teach students, from 1st – 4th grade, traditional Mexican folkloric dances.

June 2020
· Beyond the Bell is an after-school program. As an Instructional Assistant, I
was responsible of a class that averaged in about seventeen students. I
created weekly lesson plans of the activities I would do with my class. They
typically involved STEM, arts and crafts, and gross motor activities.

LEADERSHIP
At my home parish, I am “Safe Environment” cleared. With this, I can help
out in different groups withing the parish. I like to help out with the youth
group (ages 13-17) When help is needed, I can help lead talks and lessons
and I can chaperone for their events and group outings.
I am a co-founder, choreographer, and dancer for LETBF. I come up with
dances and teach them to the members.
For the second semester of the 2018-2019 school year, I was promoted
from Instructional Assistant to co-site supervisor.
For the 2018 matachines season with Tres Lunas, I was a lead dancer. I led
one line while the director led the other one. It is a great honor to become a
lead dancer.
I was the Vice President of TAFE in the 2016-2017 school year.
I was the Captain of Fuego Azul Ballet Folklórico for the 2016-2017 school
year.

In conclusion, I have had a lot of experience in leadership roles. I would say that I
excelled in them. I believe I am a good leader because I have a great attitude, I am a good
listener, I have great confidence, and can communicate well with others.
