The story begins by introducing the little protagonist, a boy who is enjoying his vacation, until a new

boy moves into his neighborhood, his name is Jeremy. The protagonist dislikes Jeremy because he hit
him with a ball and didn't invite him to his trampoline party. Jeremy is the first and only enemy of this
child, the father understands him and tells him that there is a way to take revenge on enemies, a pie.
The boy thinks that this pie must taste awful and that it will hurt Jeremy. The father asks the boy to be
nice to Jeremy so that revenge can go well, the boy invites Jeremy to play and together they have a
good time, which makes the boy doubt his revenge. At dinner time, the boy worries that Jeremy will
eat the pie, because he already considers him a friend. Jeremy and the father ate the pie, dispelling
any doubt in the boy, who realized that there was no danger in the pie.

The teaching is that our enemies are actually people we have not met, once given the chance to meet
each other, they can have many things in common and become good friends, the best revenge is
kindness.
