Re: Thanksgiving Letter

Nice to meet you, your family, and your friends.

May your days be full of joy and love. And may The Almighty God always bless you with
health and fortune in every work you do.
Through this short letter, I want to thank you for all the prayers and support that you have
given me. You have supported my vocation to the ideals of the priesthood. I really realize,
that you have taken the best part in the history of my vocation and life.
Through this short letter too, I want to introduce myself. My name is Yohan Ferrel Castillo.
Since I was little, I used to be called Yohan. But you can call me Yonce. I am a candidate for
Priest of Denpasar Diocese. I was born on Bali on December 2nd, 1994. I spent six years
(2007 – 2013) in Minor Seminary of Holy Spirit, Tuka-Bali to graduate my education for
Junior and Senior High School. I have graduated my formation period in Interdiocesan Major
Seminary of St. Peter, Ritapiret. I was ordined as deacon on June 12th, 2022, by the Bishop
of Ruteng Diocese, Mgr. Siprianus Hormat. Now, I am currently preparing to be ordained a
Priest in Denpasar Diocese.
I am gratefull that I was born in a family that support my choice to become a Priest. My
father is Dionisius Castillo Asroel. He is a canteen merchant in elementary school. My
mother is Angelina Ni Luh Puspa. She is a canteen merchant in elementary school too.
That's my brief introduction. Hopefully, this will be the opening of our conversation for the
