DEVELOPING A STRONG FAITH IN GOD

A strong faith in God plays a pivotal role in our spiritual growth as Christians,” by faith we understand
that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen was bit made from things that are
visible.”( Hebrews 11:3) by faith we believe that God exists and he rewards those who diligently seek
Him. It is by faith that God promises, and prophesies are fulfilled in our lives, by faith and trusting in
him, we engage his principles. Most Christians don’t get it right because of unbelief. Today we will look
at how we can build a strong Faith in God, that will enable us to stand firm in Him, overcome unbelief,
so that we are so convinced that nothing can really separate us from His Love
Hebrews 11:1 “ Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and conviction of things not seen.” A
strong Faith is a great indicator of spiritual maturity.

Key points to building a strong Faith in God

1. Searching the scriptures- gain knowledge about the principles, promises and the
prophesies of God’s Kingdom ( Joshua 1:8)
2. Meditate by the help of the holy ghost- this will help attain understanding of the word ,
now that you have gained the knowledge ( Josh 1:8)
3. Prayer ( especially scripture based, out of knowledge and understanding) - that the
knowledge manifests in your life
4. Obedience ( Deut 28:1,John 13:27) – keeping the principles
5. Proclaiming the promises while keeping the principles
6. Thanksgiving – attitude of gratitude pleases God, and it signifies spiritual maturity, as
you believe in his promises and your string faith in Him ( Philippians 4:6)
7. Patience: the value of bring able to wait until God deems it appropriate, as he is all
knowing and all wise, and giving him chance for his word to manifest in our lives. This
also shows our faith is growing.
