    My partner for this task was Emerald Amissah. We had a conversation on March 30th at 3:30 PM where we discussed misunderstandings around the growth mindset, and disagreed on whether effort or both effort and intelligence were more important. The conversation helped me see that there are multiple perspectives and that failure should not stop progress, as understanding can grow through learning from others. I plan to practice a growth mindset by completing projects and tasks through the alx program.

    The area of confusion during the conversation was on the common misunderstanding of growth
    mindset. It was difficult to highlight some common misunderstandings when it came to growth
    mindset. My partner and I also disagreed on the what was more important; effort or intelligence?
    One of us picked effort with sound reasons while the other chose both, also with sound reasons.

    The conversation helped me to see that there is more than one angle to every situation, and not
    to let failure be a roadblock but be adaptable as understanding of a subject is broad and it is
    good to learn from others to grow.

    I am not a Chief Engineer yet.

    I plan to practice the growth mindset through the alx program by seeing through the difficulties
    involved, that is; completing assigned projects, finishing tasks and practising more and more.
