The term "defeat" should become a companion to the term "aggressor", and it is only the

Operational information on 18.00, 11.04.2023 regarding the #russian_invasion
Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and twelfth day of large-scale armed aggression of the russian
federation against our state continues.
During the day, the enemy launched 1 missile and 10 air strikes, carried out more than
18 attacks from MLRS systems.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes remains high throughout the territory of
Ukraine.
Despite numerous losses in equipment and manpower, the enemy continues to focus its main
efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions -
more than 50 enemy attacks were repulsed during the day.
On the Volyn, Polissiya, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the operational situation has not
changed significantly. Certain units of the territorial troops of the armed forces of the russian
federation continue to be on the territory of the republic of belarus. Also, the enemy will continue
to hold certain units in the areas bordering Ukraine with Kursk and Belgorod regions, and the
engineering equipment of the area continues. During the day, the occupiers shelled the
settlements of Bleshnya, Kamianska Sloboda and Gremyach of Chernihiv region; Volfyne and
Katerynivka of the Sumy region, as well as Veterinarne, Hlyboke, Gatyshche, Vovchansk, Zybyne,
Volohivka, Okhrimivka, Chernyakiv, Komisarov, Budarky, and Dovzhanka in the Kharkiv region.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the settlements of Kolodyazne, Kamianka, Topoli, Krasne Pershe,
Ridkodub, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Pishchane and Berestov in Kharkiv region and
Novoselivske in Luhansk region were hit by enemy fire.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the
area south of Bilogorivka and Spirny. Makiivka, Nevske, Belogorivka in Luhansk region and
Yampolivka, Torske and Spirne in Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, tries to take full
control of the city of Bakhmut, fierce battles continue. During the day, the enemy carried out
unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of the Bohdanivka settlement. Units of the defense
forces repulsed about 20 enemy attacks on the indicated section of the front. Nikiforivka,
Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkovo, Markovo, Bakhmut, Khromovo, Chasiv
Yar, Ivanovske, Stupochki, Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka,
Druzhba, Toretsk and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.
The enemy carried out offensive actions in the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions
in the districts of Avdiivka, Pervomaiskyi, Nevelskyi and Maryinka, he had no success. The fiercest
battles on the indicated part of the front continue for Maryinka, where more than 15 enemy
attacks were repulsed. At the same time, the settlements of Novokalynove, Orlivka, Avdiivka,
Tonenke, Severne, Pervomaiske, Netaylove, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Maryinka, and
Pobyeda of the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.

During the day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Shakhtarsky direction. He
shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Shakhtarske, Novoukrainka, Velyka Novosilka,
Vugledar and Prechistivka in the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions.
He carried out shelling of populated areas, which are next to the line of military confrontation.
Among them are Vremivka, Novopil of the Donetsk region; Novosilka, Olhivske, Malynyvka,
Chervone, Gulyaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka,
Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Dniprovske of the Kherson region
and the city of Kherson.
The enemy continues to use the medical facilities of the temporarily captured territories for their
own purposes. For example, the building of the primary health care center in Novopskov and the
paramedic-midwifery center in Kryakivka, in Luhansk region, are used by the occupiers as a
military hospital. At the same time, in Kryakivka, in order to increase the number of beds, the
invaders additionally deployed a tent city. Only representatives of the russian occupation forces
can receive medical care in these civilian medical institutions.
During the day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 13 strikes on areas of
concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Also, 2 enemy UAVs of the
"Orlan-10" type were shot down.
During the day, units of missile troops and artillery struck 4 areas of concentration of manpower,
weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 radio electronic warfare stations of the enemy.

the situation in the sectors of the front within the areas of responsibility of the operational and
strategic groups of troops.
The intelligence leadership informed about the likely actions of the aggressor state in the near
future.
The participants of the meeting also analyzed the state of providing the units with ammunition.

In addition, consideration of the issue of staffing, weapons and military equipment provision for
the newly created brigades of the defense forces was continued.
The members of the Staff discussed the issue of increasing the effectiveness of the management
system and the interaction of various groups of the security and defense forces of Ukraine during
the fulfillment of combat missions.

President of Ukraine honored memory of the victims of the Nazi concentration camps

everyone who was killed and maimed by the Nazi regime during World War II. Just as it
remembers every Ukrainian man and woman who died in the 21st century in the concentration
camps and torture chambers of the Russian aggressor state.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasizes: we will do everything to liberate our fellow countrymen from
the camps and prisons of the modern Nazis - the Russian totalitarian regime. Only with the joint
efforts of the entire civilized world can we defeat the aggressor and prevent the expansion of
totalitarianism on the European continent.

Today we have good news from our team working on exchanges. We managed to bring home 100
defenders. 80 men and 20 women. These are soldiers, border guards, marines, national guards. By
the way, defenders of Azovstal are among them.
These are a hundred families who got real joy on the eve of Easter. And, of course, we keep
working to return all our people from Russian captivity. We remember everyone! And we will
return everyone!
I thank everyone in our Coordination Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate. I thank everyone
involved in negotiations and preparation of exchanges: Budanov’s guys, Yermak, Malyuk,
Lubinets... Well done, guys!
And I am especially grateful to everyone who supports our people after release and takes care of
treatment and adaptation. It is important.
We continue to expand the foreign policy capabilities of our state. Today we agreed with the
Prime Minister of Iraq on the new energy of our interstate relations. I informed Mr. Prime Minister
about our efforts to restore peace and integrity to Ukraine, in particular about our Peace Formula.
And I am grateful for the readiness not just to look, but to actually find ways to make our
cooperation stronger.
I spoke today with the Prime Minister of Greece, mainly about the existing challenges. I outlined
the security situation, more broadly - our activity for the return of peace and protection of people.

I thank Greece for its willingness to continue the existing cooperation and to achieve greater
things together.
I met today with Richard Branson - a prominent British entrepreneur and a longtime friend of
Ukraine. He has been supporting us since 2014 - both in words and with concrete work. Now he
has decided to join the team of United24 ambassadors. I am grateful for that!
We discussed how the global influence of Mr. Branson can help us in our recovery, reconstruction
of our educational institutions, attraction of technological assistance for Ukraine, in particular, to
carry out humanitarian demining.
We also have regular steps in defense assistance to our state from Germany, I am thankful for
them. Two weeks - and we’ve got reinforcement from Germany in armored vehicles, air defense,
ammunition, engineering vehicles, medicine...
Everything that strengthens Ukraine's defense against Russian terror, everything that gives our
soldiers more opportunities for active movement - all this protects everyone in the partner
countries, everyone in Europe, everyone in the world.

And I thank everyone who really brings it closer. In battles for the sake of our state - in Maryinka

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with founder of Virgin Group company
and Virgin Unite non-profit foundation, British entrepreneur Richard Branson, who joined the
team of ambassadors of the United24 fundraising platform.
The Head of State thanked the businessman for the powerful messages in support of our country
during the war against the Russian aggressor.
The President noted that one of the priorities today is the reconstruction of our country, its
infrastructure, in particular the educational one.
According to him, Ukrainian educational institutions need digitization, appropriate equipment, and
bomb shelters.
In addition, the Head of State called demining one of the main challenges for our country, as its
territories have become the scene of intense hostilities. For this, Ukraine needs appropriate
assistance, in particular technological assistance.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also drew Richard Branson's attention to the problem of mass illegal
deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and the need to put pressure, in particular
informational pressure, on the aggressor state in this matter.

Olena Zelenska and philanthropist Howard Buffett opened the construction of Ukraine's first
kitchen factory in Bucha

Wife of the President of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and philanthropist Howard Buffet opened the
construction of Ukraine's first kitchen factory in Bucha. The project of the second such enterprise
was approved for the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region.
The first scoop of soil at the construction site was lifted personally by Howard Buffett, the patron
of the project, on an excavator. Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy
Kuleba, Acting Head of the Kyiv RSA Dmytro Nazarenko, mayor of Bucha Anatolii Fedoruk, co-
founder of the NGO "National Public Catering Association" Orest Stepaniak also attended the
event.
The kitchen factory project is part of the reform of school meals initiated by First Lady of Ukraine
Olena Zelenska and started in 2022. In its framework, together with the Ministry for Communities,
Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, three options for the organization of
school meals were developed:
1. Full cycle kitchen (in educational institutions where there is economic feasibility and technical
and technological possibility, everything is cooked on site from scratch).
2. Hub kitchens (food is transported from one powerful kitchen to neighboring schools).
3. Factory kitchen (a large volume of supply, a separate building in which food is cooked, shock
freezed and transported to many schools). 
Such a kitchen factory can prepare 10,000 portions. In this way, water and electricity costs are
saved. And the supply of food to children becomes systematized, safe and of high quality.
It is expected that the kitchen factory in Bucha will provide food at once to three communities
(Bucha, Nemishaieve and Borodyanka), where several dozen educational institutions are located.
Production capacity can be reconfigured or expanded to meet the nutritional needs of any groups
of population. In particular, the enterprise will be able to feed temporarily displaced persons and
local residents.
"For our country and the whole world, Bucha is a place of Russian crimes, but, along with this
dramatic memory, we want it to continue to live as a normal, happy city, to become more
comfortable, we want children to play on these streets. We want them to go to school and grow
up here. We want this city to be what it was intended to be: native, beloved, a place of strength
for thousands of people. So that residents don't lose it, but appreciate it even more," said Olena
Zelenska during the construction launch.
She emphasized that the kitchen factory was the beginning of a return to the school meal reform
project, the implementation of which was interrupted by the Russian attack.
"Thanks to the kitchen, we returned to the reform of school meals, which was interrupted by the
Russian invasion. We realized that the idea of feeding children qualitatively and nutritiously in
wartime becomes even more difficult to implement, yet even more important. Because our

children and our teachers demonstrated true heroism. They did not interrupt their studies.
Therefore, it is our desire to support children and teachers, in particular, with food which
determines the quality of education," Olena Zelenska emphasized.
During the launch of the construction, the expansion of the initiative also took place: the project of
the second such factory, which will be built in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, was presented. A
corresponding memorandum was signed. On behalf of Ukraine, it was signed by Oleh Syniehubov,
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Serhiy Zelenskyy, mayor of Lozova.
On March 28, at the session of the Kharkiv City Council, a decision was made to allocate a land plot
with an area of 1.5 hectares, budgeting and design of the facility began. It is expected that the
kitchen factory in Lozova will supply food to 89 schools and preschool institutions of the Lozova
territorial community.
"The kitchen factory project is not only about food. It's about joint action. About support that has
no borders and territorial restrictions. It is about help and interaction in a broad sense, because
kitchens are also jobs and economic revitalization these areas strongly need. In short, kitchens are
projects about life and the energy it needs. This is the production of not only calories, but also
hopes and energy for children and adults," the President's wife stressed.
The First Lady thanked the local authorities, Orest Stepaniak's team for implementing the project,
and Howard Buffett's team for their love for Ukraine, faith in it and its children.

Comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding the allocation of land plots in
the temporarily occupied Crimea to participants of Russian aggression against Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly condemns the decision of Russian occupation
administration to start allocation of land plots in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic
of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to participants of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
As it became known, representatives of the occupation administration in Crimea made a worthless
decision to start allocating hundreds of land plots to Russian military who participated in hostilities
against Ukraine.
Such "encouragements" to murderers are criminal and worthless and will definitely be canceled,
like all other decisions approved by the Russian occupation administration in Crimea.
We are firmly convinced that putting an end to the arbitrariness of the currently active criminal
occupation administration in the temporarily occupied Crimea and restoring law and order is
possible only in one way - by restoring Ukraine's sovereignty over the Crimean peninsula and all
other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
